The original purchase of the the filter under sink unit was great and the water quality is excellent. Your follow up system advising when the cartridges needed to be replaced was very handy and the service in getting the product to me was first class.

Sprite HOC High Output Shower Filter Replacement Cartridge
I love showering in chlorine free water. So glad I found your product. It works well. And your customer service is excellent too.

Hello Denise,
Great to hear from you.
Yes the Sprite High Output shower filtration cartridge can last for 12 months.
It is rated for 112,500 litres.
That should give around 30 minutes of showers every day for 1 year.
If your usage falls in line with that then let us know and we can adjust your cartridge replacement reminder to be extended out to be 12 months.
Or if you have a family using it and the usage is outside those numbers leave it at 6 months.
Anything you need just let us know?
Thank you Denise,
The Team from My Water Filter.

Hello Zac,
Appreciate your comment.
Zac I do understand your thoughts on price, but to get products imported into Australia with good test results is, unfortunately, costing a bit nowdays.
What you could do to get the maximum life out of your cartridges is to try to work out how much water you use each day & then work out roughly when you need to replace those cartridges.
Also in relation to the Alkaliser cartridge you have, you can do a pH test on your water, if the pH level the Alkaliser is creating is ok for you, then keep using that Alkaliser until the pH level of the water drops lower than what you like to be consuming.
I hope that helps, please let us know if we can assist you further.
Thank you Zac,
Regards
The Team from My Water Filter

Xstream 7 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System with Alkaliser
Great filter system - installed it myself with no leaks or problems - took about a 1 week for the water taste (slightly metallic) and aeration in water to settle down - would definitely recommend.

Aquasana 3 Stage Under Counter Drinking Water Filter (AQ-5300) Complete with Australian Fittings
Great product, noticed a significant difference in the water taste and odour straight away. However the flow rate restrictor on the inlet piping before the filters, does reduce water pressure maybe too much in my opinion. Would be better if the flow rate was much higher, i tend to prefill bottles instead of using it to fill up a glass at time just because of the wait time.

Hello Kyle,
Great to hear from you.
Kyle we appreciate the information. Yes the Aquasana water filters do create very nice water. In doing that they are a very tight filter, hence why they can remove so many contaminants. The tight filtration can slow down the water flow so just keep in mind the slower we filter our water the better water quality we will have. I do filter my water very slowly into a large container as you are doing now, as that is how i create the best water i can.
But on saying that we dont want our water filtration to become a pain so we do require a reasonable flow rate. The PLV or flow restrictor is to stop any big surges in the water supply like hammer knock from a washing machine or similar pushin into the water filter. So the PLV should be used. What we will do is test a PLV with a higher pressure rating so that might assist to get the water flowing faster for you.
We will be in touch with you soon to help you out.
Many thanks Kyle.

FilterooÂź Slim Gravity Fed Stoneware Water Filter with Ceramic - Carbon Cartridge
I have no water testing equipment to quantify Filteroo/Doulton's claims, but in my rental house with bore town water and plants growing from the guttering that feeds the rainwater tank, this product has made either water very drinkable.
The product arrived quickly, was well packaged, looked exactly as advertised and works very well. The tap only turns one way, to the right, which is initially a bit clumsy for those whose natural tap hand is their left, but this is such a an easily surmountable thing for really nice water.

Hello Linda,
Fantastic to hear from you.
Linda I will ask someone to call to you asap as I expect your filter is due for a cartridge replacement after such a long time.
Not sure if it will be Rod as he is always flat out busy.
The Ultrapure water filter you have is a very good filter with test results to back it up.
We will look forward to chat to you very soon.
Thank you Linda,

Hello Nola,
Nice to hear from you.
Nola I understand your message as those slimeline shower filters are for over head shower setups, so the height of the shower head is not to low so we hit our head on it.
Please do let us know if that is not working out for you as it should?
A shower filter is a beautiful way to shower so we do want yours to be working well for you.
Many Thanks Nola,
Regards the Team from My Water Filter.
