Hello Jenine, Thank you for your contact. Yes Jenine, it is always handy to have a drinking water bottle that can also filter the water. As we never know what is really in the water, it always looks clean, but that is not always the case now days, unfortunately. All the best Jenine, The Team from My Water Filter.

Hello Brendan, Thanks for the comment. Brendan, I totally understand your thoughts if you are referring to the mineral you see when water has evaporated away like on your shower glass? How the Ecosoft Hard Water Conditioner works is it treats the water passing through it by transforming the Calcium Carbonate into a smoother crystal. It is still Calcium Carbonate but just in a different form. The transformed mineral remains suspended in the water but in a stable form, hence instead of sticking to pipe works, it just passes harmlessly through the system and down the drain. If you can still see white marks or limescale stains on your shower glass you will notice that these wipe off easier. The treated mineral is far less aggressive and does not eat into the glass as the untreated mineral will. The best fix here is for the last person to have a shower each night is to quickly blade the water from the shower glass with a squeegee blade, as it is very hard to stop the minerals. But if we are on the wrong track do please let us know?
