We recently changed our filters (Replacement Cartridge Pack for HPF 20" x 4.5" Triple Big Blue Whole House Chloramine Reduction Water Filter System) and the difference was like night and day. We went from stinky chemical smells as the tap was running, to odourless and tasty water again. It was a good reminder that as soon as you can smell chemicals in your water its time to change the filters! Lucky that My Water Filter is so quick to delivering our filters so we never have to worry about having great water.

Unfortunately neither bath if shower filters fitted my bathroom which is very disappointing as the head on my shower is a rain shower and my bathroom which tap is a very wide flowing tap. I was going to send them both back but I’m selling my property and hoping my new bathroom will have the right fittings for both pieces? I’ve used my daughter’s filter in the shower and it was great so I’m hoping to have the same response.

Rain shower heads and wide-flow bath spouts can sometimes require specific fittings, so that would explain the issue. If you decide to hold onto them for your new property, we’re hopeful they’ll be compatible there — and if you’d like, you can always send us a photo of the new fittings and we’ll gladly check compatibility for you first.

Good filter but shape is challenging

Filteroo® 5.5" Rain & City Water Carbon Block Gravity Water Filter Cartridge
This new filter for our gravity fed urn works well, however, as it has a flat top, we have to be really careful when topping up the urn. If the pouring water hits the top of the filter, because it is so flat, it splashes everywhere. That is my only issue with it. The old Wedgewood filter had a rounded smooth top which made filling the urn easy.
