So far we love it. Our kids are 11, 8, and a fresh 7. It can be a struggle to do combined work with everyone at times. This really lays down a good foundation/starting point that I can build on for our oldest. Yet still be able to keep our son, the youngest, engaged and on track. My oldest is using the Exploring World History this year and while she admits that it does take at least an hour to complete the work, she finds the information interesting and is constantly wanting to talk about what she is learning. Two of my sons are using Uncle Sam and You this year. This has been very well liked and often the source of some contention since they are both sharing the textbook and each wants the book first. Usually it’s the first requested subject to complete for the day and they excitedly want to tell the other what they are reading or learning about that day. My youngest son is using Our Star Spangled Story. We both enjoy this time together and enjoy the information we are learning! His favorite are the family projects.
