Loving my PAKA whether stuffed in a pack to take to the river or at my fly tying desk it has become a go to sweater. I went with a medium although I was between medium and large and the fit is perfect and not too snug. I did notice it was a bit prickly the first days worn but after a week I haven’t noticed that at all.

I ordered a 3 pack for my LEO husband. He wears these under his uniform shirt AND his 20lb vest AND his extra 3lbs of tac gear. These EASILY outperform name brand sports-created moisture wicking shirts. Best part? They do NOT SMELL nor do they HOLD SMELL! And we live just north of H-Town where it averages 97° & 90% humidity from May to mid October. The WAIR app said he was an XL but the listed height/weight of the models in the pictures (thank you for posting that, PAKA!) were closer to his measurements, so I ordered L instead and they fit perfect. I can see, however, if you throw these in the dryer on HIGH (I choose to hang dry them) an XL would be a better option in the long run. I have also ordered him a long sleeve AIRE to test for our short, wet winters (end of November - early/mid March). As a side note, we have already transitioned a good chunk of his socks to PAKA. Yes, even in tac boots and H-Town weather, the Essential & Trail socks work!

Men's Apu Lightweight Puffer
I purchased the lightweight puffer jacket just in time for a trip to the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 in September. Light as a feather, stuffed it away in its pocket on the flight and rapidly deployed it on arrival into windy rain showers. Kept me dry and warm on walks around the island in all kinds of weather from rain and 30+ mph winds, to sun and 30+ mph winds. Temps in 40’s and 50’s F.
The one hike I made in the puffer was great, but I do miss having pit vents as a lot of moisture built up during the hike, but I feel the parka would have been way too much and not right for hiking. I turned it inside out during our drive and it quickly dried out. We never faced steady driving rain but in the steady drizzle and occasional bursts of rain, the water beaded up and never saturated the outer layer.
As for fit, I am 5’10”, high 160s, and went with the large to give a bit more room for a thick mid layer of necessary. With the draw cord waist and hood, I think it snugged up well but still left room for active movement.
Overall terrific product and a wonderful company doing great things.

I wanted to love this because it was advertised as this great travel hoodie but it really isn’t. Is it packable yes… if you need to wash it - that’s when things are horrible for travel. It takes days to air dry and because it’s delicate washing requirements you can’t drop it off anywhere to be washed. Also the smell is horrific… I won’t take this traveling anymore cause I am usually on the move and the washing of this product is ridiculous. Otherwise it’s a good hoodie for home use

Update- paka reached out with amazing customer service. Unfortunately the shrinkage is too much. I ordered a size small unisex. I am a petite female and recommend sizing up knowing it will shrink even hand washing.
I ordered this because of a Facebook ad in which the person wearing it was camping and looking cozy. There is no way I’d wear this hiking or on any trip in which it would need to be washed. First off it takes days to dry and even handwashing it shrinks significantly and needs to be re-stretched after it dries to be comfy again. Also the smell is insane when it’s wet so have a nice place to stink up while waiting days for it to air dry. This is totally not worth the money as you will not want to wear it knowing the process to clean it and the days you’ll wait to wear it again. After 3 washing this sweater is still shedding onto everything - that is really annoying as well. Overall I have no idea how this sweater was rated as high as it is…
