Upon the first wear, the waist was nice… and legs were a little loose. I wore them all day, on a run and the waist band never rolled, while the smell was under control. After the second wear, I started to notice some itching and the shape loosening more around the legs. Now I’m well into the 5th wash/wear cycle and the legs are completely stretched out, so these are effectively boxers now. I’d recommend a size down if you want to have any support. HOWEVER, before purchasing I would very much think of how wool feels in an undergarment. These itch. Any softer threads interlaced with the alpaca has either disappeared or just thinned out too much to prevent a constant (but subtle) itchiness. It’s mostly noticeable when I’m just sitting and isn’t distracting during activity. Unfortunately at this price, I think 5 wears isn’t enough for a boxer brief/trunk.
