I recently wore my PAKA Hoodie in the PNW for 4 days of hiking to enjoy the fall colors as the seasons changed. It was cool at lower elevation, but as we hiked up the mountain, it started snowing! And I was incredibly comfortable. We encountered lots of snow above 6,000 feet the following day, and again I was very comfortable on our hike, plus I didn’t have to remove it at lower elevation where it was much warmer. Oh, and I wore this hoodie for 4 days of hiking totally over 32 miles, and it smells perfectly clean!

This is a very fair concern. As a brand, we are consistently moving towards more ethical and environmentally practices in all that we do. Much of our efforts as a company are devoted to fabric development. We strive to find new ways to utilize natural fibers that can stand up to synthetic material in durability (no small feat). Our Breathe line was a huge breakthrough for us as a fabric innovator. For the first time, we were able to create a functional fitness blend that's made solely of natural materials. We are still developing in other realms. Socks, for example, present a huge challenge as it's hard to achieve the elastic that people expect in performance socks without using nylon. While we haven't found a way to eliminate nylon completely from our socks (yet!) we are incorporating natural materials and reducing the overall amount of synthetic fiber in our pieces. We also use only recycled nylon and poly, so we are not introducing new plastics into our environment.

I have been looking at these hoodies for 2 months now, I finally pulled the trigger and bought one and I’m OBSESSED. I wear it constantly. I have fallen asleep in it a few times and where normally if I sleep on a hoodie I get way to hot and sweat and take it off half way through the night. Not this one! It’s so cozy and keeps a nice comfortable temp <3 I’ll be buying more in the future!
