I don't like to wear wool because it is itchy. This shirt was not itchy at all. Alpaca and Cotton was soft to the touch. I didn't get chilled after I sweated a bit in it either. Kept its shape after the first wash. Can't wait for the next wear!

This is the cutest, softest, warmest hoodie! The problem and the reason for only 4 stars, the fit. The shoulders were big, the sleeves were four inches beyond my fingers BUT, the hips were snug. I wear an 8/10 in pants and they fit so I’m thinking this was cut for a guy or a very straight girl

This is a great shirt for outdoor adventures. It’s incredibly soft and cozy, dries quickly, and doesn’t get smelly even after multiple days of hard wearing. I wore it for two days on 10+ mile hikes in the Rocky Mountains. It was comfortable from 30 degree mornings to 60 degree, sunny afternoons, and didn’t get stinky.

Love this sweater. It’s light, soft, warm, looks great. I don’t like it as much as the first one I got over a year ago though. It’s too tight on my forearms and around my wrists and the hood is both made better and worse somehow. When fully zipped, the opening is a tad too small, vs the original one was a tad too big. Great sweater and I’ll buy whatever they are making when I lose or wear out this one but I liked the last one a bit better. It’s my favorite mid layer under my shell for snowboarding and it works well with a base layer underneath for spring rides without the shell. Almost a four star review because it’s kinda a downgrade,but I love paka, so, five stars. 🤗

I bought two of the paka long sleeve shirts for base layers and a six pack of socks for Iceland. I had never tried alpaca clothing before but read lots of wonderful reviews. I will say that both the shirts and socks were my favorite investment of clothing for my trip to Iceland in September. I gave two pair of socks to my mom as well and she LOVED them for all our hiking. The material is so soft and comfortable, I have really sensitive skin so I was worried about it itching but never experienced any problem. I will be wearing these items for all my future mountain adventures (I live in Colorado). I’m 5’4” and 135 pounds and wore the size medium women’s long sleeve shirt.

For the average woman, the torsos and arms on all of the unisex garments are (((HUGE))) with regard to width/capacity, even in size S, XS, and XXS. For the XXS, the arms were too short. In general, PAKA sizing is much too large in the torso for lean, fit, athletic, thinner women (for reference, this girl is: 5’8” tall, a 34B, and between 125 and 135 pounds, depending on how much strength-training I am doing).
My primary issue with this “hoodie” is that the “hood” only covers one third to one half of the top of the head, which is incomprehensible. I have a small head, so this should not be an issue, but the hood design does not account for the neck length measurement on the average human (you can see this even in the photos of men wearing the hoodie with the hood up).
The quality of ALL Paka clothing is outstanding. The green color for the hoodies (and hoodless versions of this sweater) is gorgeous. But thus far, due to enormous (and/or misproportioned) sizing for most pieces, no Paka items (apart from the light-weight beanie) have been accessible to me.
