The pictures on their website make "The Hoodie" appear thicker than it is. This garment is razor-thin and quite delicate. It's so thin you can see through it if held up to light. I was not expecting that. It does look very nice but the way they advertise it as an outdoor garment is a little misleading. As other reviewers also noted, this garment is probably too delicate to withstand heavy-duty uses. I could see this snagging on a branch or wearing thin very easily or "fuzzing out". To me, it seems more like something you would wear around town on a walk or out to dinner or indoors but I was looking for something thicker and more rugged that could withstand a backpack and the elements. Maybe they could sell that type of hoodie in the future? It feels too scratchy on the inside, so you need a base layer (at least a cotton t-shirt), but the way they cut the neck exposes what you're wearing underneath. The quality is top notch and the cause is great (I love Alpacas!) but for the price ($134 with shipping), it didn't fill a need for me.

It's still acting like summer where I live, but I've just found my favorite fall hoodie. It's super soft and comfortable, warm, and lightweight. Wore it this past weekend with shorts to do some easy hiking, then had a fire pit in my backyard that evening and stayed very comfortable throughout. It also didn't seem to absorb much of the smoke smell from my fire. Already considering some sweaters, but I'll put this through its paces for a few weeks to see how it holds up!

Material is fantastic (an extra star for that!), it’s the cut and design of these boxer briefs that is the problem. They just got it wrong. Waist is too high. No pouch or extra room in front, just cuts straight across so feels constricting. Love Paka - the hoodie is great! shame about the briefs. Hope they redesign these!

The hoodie is very soft and lightweight. I was surprised at the awful smell after taking it out of the washer and laying out to dry. The odor is very strong and my whole living room where I laid it out to dry flat smelled for days. Now that it is dry it doesnt smell as bad, but I am afraid to wear it on a damp hiking day because the smell was so bad. Is that smell normal? I have yet to wear it.
