Seriously. This thing is soft, light and warm. AND - I just wore it without washing it so many times its embarrassing. It never smelled even a little. Originally ordered a medium (per the sites recommendations) and found that it was too big. Paka was quick to respond and exchange was fairly painless. Size small fits perfectly! (Male. 5’8”, 155ish) I’m planning on taking on the Camino in Portugal this Spring, and I can’t wait.

So great to be able to wear something so adaptable to so many temperatures! My wife and I walk a lot, and this works from 70 down to 50; then add a vest or light jacket. If it gets below freezing, add your new parka (which also has a wide comfort range). This hoody just feels so good next to your skin!

Hoodie material is thinner than I thought when I purchased it, BUT it is luxuriously soft and actually quite warm and light. If it were thicker I think it might be too warm. Paka recommended that I get a size larger than I typically wear and the fit is perfect. Quality product from a fantastic natural source.
