I absolutely loved the older version with the same soft material on the waist and leg bands. Not a fan of elastic on my skin. It's prone to snags and unravels unlike the old style. Sadly the material also seems thinner

This hoodie sweater is soft and warm. I wore it on a day that started chilly and windy and ended up warm and I was comfortable the whole time. The fit is true to size. Arms were a little long, so I cuffed them. I would buy another if it came in a soft purple shade.
