RPP took my grandfather's old lever action and brought it into the modern age. I was able to put the hand guard on with minimal effort. I'm no gunsmith either.

Handguard works good, got some scratches on my gun trying to install it. It’s on the more difficult side to install for Big Boy x 357/.38sp, you had to take the gun mostly apart to get the magazine tube out but that’s on Henry.

45-70 is a hammer! Love the black multicam Gen 2 handguard and grip/stock. Quality is great and looks great when paired with all black setups to mix it up.

Is there a peep sight option for this rail?

Lots of clip-on, flip-up sight set options that attach to a standard picatinny rail. Amazon has 12+ for $20-$40 and Magpul on the high-end at $80.
