If you put any kind of optic on a lever action rifle, this stock is awesome. Simply put, you can adjust it to get the drop and cheek weld you need. I had to add the cheek riser because of a prism designed for ARs, but that’s optional is here. I think you also can add to the length of pull but I didn’t need to do that. The construction is very rugged without adding much weight. Finally, it looks so much better than whatever Rossi uses for a stock.

The adjustable stock allows you to run virtually any optic on the rifle with a pic rail. That has been my favorite feature while trying out optics.
The added lightness above even the Henry Model X stock I replaced really makes this gun nice to carry for a long day. 30-30 isn’t a lightweight platform, but the weight of this rifle in RPP goodies has impressed and surprised everyone I’ve handed it to.
I would like somewhere on the stock to lock in allen keys for the hardware on the RPP furniture. Right now I have them taped inside one of the arms of the stock. I carry the sizes needed to adjust the buttstock’s angle and to check the tightness of the hand-guard hardware (little set screws).
