10x better than buck horn sights for one. Second it only took me two shots to sight in at 30 yards. I still need to go out further distance, but so far I’m loving this sight. I kept the factory front sight for the Henry 45 colt carbine. Nothing extra needed.

I really like the hand guard. It was just what I was looking for.
My issue is that during the install I broke the tenon tapping it in. I believe this is a pretty common issue. I had oiled it to try to allow it to slide more easily. It still snapped. I contacted RPP and they just told me that I should have sanded it down before install. I did ask them for a replacement but was told to buy another one from their website. Disappointed with that answer But if you can install it without breaking it I believe you will be happy with this product.

Thanks for the feedback! As you say, you do need to be careful to sand the new beefier tenon per our instructions enough before trying to hammer it into place (they'll bend). Glad to hear that you got it to work.
