To be honest, if I knew it was going to be such a pain to install I wouldn't have done it. It took me 3 days to complete. The biggest pain was trying to file and sand down your Tendon. You really should include the proper size so someone doesn't have to spend several hours sanding it down in order to make it fit. Once I had it hammered in I had to take it back out and sand it some more since it has to be able to move back and forth easily to get the front Tendon lined up. So overall I don't think it was worth the effort. It does look good once installed but it took hours of cursing and bloody knuckles to get there. So please get that issue fixed so future installers don't have to go through that. Thank you!

I bought a Henry Picatinny Rail for my Henry Big Boy X in .45 Colt. Way too tall. I have a few red dots, and only one would work with that rail. And… the dot was in the bottom 1/3 of the sight.
I found Ranger Point in a search, read some customer comments and decided to try it.
Great decision. It’s perfect. It sits down low on the top of the Henry X. So low I could remove the red dot and still use the OEM Hi Viz sights. That’s a big deal! Now I just gotta figure out how to carry the sight adjustment/removal key. I’m sure I’ll figure out something.
My zero using iron sights was decent at 50 yards. Now it’s spectacular.
It also will go back to 106 yards by adding 13 clicks to the ZERO. Using 225 grain Federal rounds.
