Handguard is hard to install but that is more of the guns fault. It's easy to scratch your gun. Very happy with the hand guard. May need to get the butt stock sooner that later.

Was told I couldn’t use a pistol grip, but after talking to a gunsmith I was informed it was not an issue. Disappointed in the information. But the straight works as instructed.

Thanks for the feedback. You *can* buy a new lever and make a pistol grip stock work on a straight stock rifle kinda. There would have been an open between the stock and the trigger guard b/c of the shape of the trigger guard. Using the correct butt stock for your rifle was the right choice to make. Hope you love it!

Decided to take an old Marlin 30AW to the next level. Stripped the bluing off the lever and polished it also from the bolt and polished it along with the ejector and hammer. Added two quick decorated take down screws and spacer washers. Then added some paracord art one paracord turkey beard the second on the lever, and I believe I have a 100% smoother action from when I started and a nicer looking 30AW ... hope you enjoy it.
