I like this piece but I'm unable to mount it because when I purchased it I wasn't aware it needs the M lock mount so I'm kinda dead in the water Until they get them in stock. Hurry up ranger point and I need the other lever take down button in silver hurry up ranger point 😭

Good morning ranger. I took it upon myself after purchasing a new ranger X model 357 to add the hand guard and Buttstock after watching the Ranger precision YouTube. I don't know that I would ever do that again. I have all the tools in the bench but this was a job. Having to completely remove the trigger group to get to the screw and then reinstalling that installing the hand guard it took me about three hours and a six pack of beer but I Gotter done and it came out beautiful.

This is my second build. My first was the brass Henry 410 Axe. This one is the black Henry 410 Axe and in keeping with the "black" theme...I stripped the stock down to bare walnut...stained it black and gave it 8 coats of spray clear satin lacquer...fine-sanded and hand rubbed in between each coat. BEAUTIFUL!

The hand guard is a bit loose due to the bracket being a touch too big on the rossi. RPP reached out and sent me another barrel band that fixed the problem at no cost. Incredible customer service!

Thanks for the review. The Marlin/Rossi barrel bands usually fit the Rossi barrels but some might be off-spec. If it's not tight enough, we can swap it out for a Winchester/Citadel one which is made for the slightly smaller barrel OD's.
