Marlin Lever Action Loading Gate - Flyweight Fast, Easy, Smooth
The online installation video is outstanding. This load gate does make it much easier to load my Marlin Guide Gun. The material is more springy than the stainless steel one that comes with the gun. As long as the material holds up it works perfectly so far. I did have to slightly file one edge of the gate because it was catching on the opening in the gun but I believe that is because the gun opening was slightly off on the bottom edge so that's probably a gun issue. Also this whole installation process will give you a chance to smooth the sharp edges of the load opening in the gun so it doesn't cut your fingers. Don't know why Marlin leaves those inside sharp edges.

Not sure why my review was saved as a 1-star...it should have been 5 (leaving the rest the same, even after the response). Perfect fit and great quality - and I can even see the wider fiber optic posts on my Henry X-Model through the channel. With low rings and a 1" scope, I might even be able to get away without a cheek rest. My only suggestion would be to include torque specs in the packaging.
