I purchased a Marlin 336c 30-30… Remington. I immediately had issues with the barrel band/screw after the first 6 shots. After a few replacement screws and a new barrel band I come to find out that this fairly common issue with Remington-made Marlins. I began my search on how to fix the issue myself when I stubbled across a video titled “This ain’t your grandaddy’s 30-30” and a few videos later a video by WPO and I thought I gotta have this! So I ordered the M-LOK handguard, mag follower, loading gate, quick takedown screw & medium lever. Turns out, I ordered the wrong lever (my own fault, 35 rem not 30-30) but customer service was awesome and the return was super easy. I followed the steps on WPO’s video and installation was a breeze! The cursed Remington barrel band issue is gone! I’ve put 3 boxes of ammo through it and I’m in love with my lever gun again! I’m anxiously waiting for the rest of the parts I want (correct lever, butt stock, stock takedown screw, quiver and mounting plate) to be back in stock so I can complete my build. I live in northern Canada and shipping was excellent (including the return) 2 weeks. First question any of my lever loving friends ask when they see this is where do I get it? Thanks for bringing life back to my lemon Ranger Point! The only way I could be happier is if I had ordered the right lever. lol

Easy to install, follow Wolf Prairie Outdoors YouTube video on install. Results are a crisp lighter trigger, I installed this trigger on both of my Henry X Model rifles.

Awesome hand guard functionally and looks sweet but 4 stars due to the hand guard partially covering the load port under the barrel. Would be nice to have a slightly bigger opening to accommodate or a small “ramp” feature to guide the rounds into the loading port. Maybe even selling a separate mlok ramp/guide to bolt onto the hand guard. Other than that, this little .22 project is coming along and looks badass. Just a little bummed with the added frustration of loading these small *** rounds.

Still waiting to shoot it but this went on so easy. Didn't use loctite because Ruger-Marlin 1895 SBL 45-70 had thread cap and when I installed this after removing the cap it was very snug. Don't see how it will work loose. After reading all the other reviews and watching videos on this brake I just can't see how it won't be an extremely welcome addition to the gun. It looks great on the gun.

Haven't got to shoot it yet but can't wait. Installed this with several of RPPs other upgrades and can't wait. Just weather and work not cooperating. Installed the Marlin Aluminum Magazine Follower Self Cleaning and loaded the mag. With the hammer block on, ran the action to unload and no issues whatsoever. I think this is going to be well worth it. After loading the Hornady LEVERevolution 325gr 45-70 FTX absolutely going to pick up RPP's loading gate. The factory one is way too stout.

RPP does amazing work creating superior upgrades that I am very pleased with. Ruger-Marlin 1895 SBL 45-70 Govt 19 inch. Comet muzzle brake, Marlin Trigger | Reduce Trigger Weight, lever shims. Going to pick up their loading gate soon. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but action along with their recommendation for the Wolff Marlin Reduced Power Hammer Spring which was also added make the action run so much better.
