Installed the kit (both sear and spring) in a .357 BIG BOY, dropped trigger pull from 4.5# to 3#, nice improvement

So far so good. I have not seen anyone use your quiver like I have. It's awesome. Your aluminum buttstock is awesome, but I have poured too much already into this build so kept the synthetic stock unfortunately. Ordered wrong lever and did not find out until after it was Cerakote. Reordered and kept your black finish. Blew the budget for the buttstock. It keeps it kinda classic I guess.... Maybe one day I can upgrade. Keep up the hard work! You guys are AMAZING!!

I bought the RPP Flyweight Loading Gate in silver. It's light weight and has nice smooth edges. Unfortunately it wouldn't work with my 1895 GBL Remlin 45-70. It was easier to load rounds into the magazine but then the gun kept jamming and wouldn't feed any rounds. It looks like what was happening was because the RPP Loading Gate is much thicker than the stock one a round would come about half way out of the magazine and then get stuck on the back of the loading gate causing the action to lock up. I probably could have filed and sanded the back of the RPP Loading Gate down to make it thinner but instead I just put the stock steel loading gate back on since that one works fine. I was disappointed that the RPP Gate wouldn't work since it was such a nice design and I liked the look and concept of easier loading. I did use the RPP Loading Gate Screw which I like much better than the stock screw. That seems to work great.

Love the forend! Wish you guys would make a barrel band to fit the 444 Marlin. Had one machined but that added $$$ to the project. Other then that couldn't have been happier with the way it came out.

You wont need a gunsmith to install this rail, do it yourself. It took me about 1 hour taking my time and watching TN football today.

Purchased a new sear and spring for my Henry long Ranger. Replacement was not difficult. Wow what a difference went from a ridicules 8-10 lbs that was impossible to shoot well to a nice crisp 3lbs. I had already paid a gun smith to clean it up, but was still unhappy with it. This is loads better. Worth every penny. Wish I had found this before deer season, would not have had to use my old 270.

The product looks beyond cool. The warning about damaging your gun need to be bigger and needs to be seriously considered. My local gunsmith would not take on the task so after a dozen hours of youtube I got the courage to try. My upper fell apart it took me awhile to get the action back to working. I did damage my barrel and had to have it replaced. The entire installation goes smooth as can be until you have to reinstall the outer magazine tube support cap. It is impossible to do without machinating the parts. I WARN YOU DO NOT ATTEMTP TO INSTALL ON YOUR OWN. It is not easy and can be stressful and cost you like it did me having to buy a new barrel and Outer magazine tube cap.

Installed easily (except I put the front sight on backwards to start with). Thanks for the note about having to drive the front sight. I can sit play pigeons at 100 yards with my Henry 357m lever rifle now.

I dont have anything to compare this to other than the terrible stock trigger. All i can say is that it was a significant upgrade.

This thing fits perfectly and works great for my marlin. I almost went with a stock form Form stocks and i am glad i didnt

If you have a pistol-caliber Henry, you NEED to read this review! The instructional video on this website to install this hand guard should get you through it; however, removing the mag tube on the pistol-caliber Henry is different. The second screw is under the trigger guard, so you have to disassemble the rifle to get to it:

One important bit of information: DO NOT secure the hand guard BEFORE you secure the trigger guard. If you secure the hand guard first, the trigger-guard screw WILL NOT line up properly with the hole.

Look! If you aren't used to modifying weapons or you aren't used to putting things together and taking them apart, you could damage your rifle and/or have a longer, more frustrating install than expected. Have patience ... if I did it ... you can, too. This isn't a gentle process, so you can damage your rifle. You will need the right tools to get it done. The install video included on this website will show you everything you need to have on your table.

Buy the product ... it's awesome! But ... if you're in over your head, have a gunsmith install it or if you have a buddy you trust ... let your buddy install it for you. Don't let pride stop you from considering one of those options!

Took my H009 .30-30 from 6.11# to 3.4# average. Best money I’ve spent on the gun yet. I haven’t shot it yet, but I would say this should tighten my groups up quite a bit. Super predictable trigger. Quality stuff, don’t second guess ordering from these guys!

I had the first gen handguard installed by a professional gunsmith on my Henry All-Weather 30-30, the smith immediately noticed issues with the fit and the integrity of the products stability. I took it to the range and quickly noticed that the accuracy was unreliable due to the movement of the handguard (with and without a scope). This was more evident when I tried to take it hunting.

I recently took it back to the smith who had to redo the installation and add shimming to keep everything in place. This continued to add to the amount I've spent to make the product functional. Although the listing has a disclaimer about the liability of installation, the product description lacks forthcoming information about the lacking structural integrity of the product even if installed professionally.

I see they now carry a second gen model that doesn't have these issues. While I wish I could order the new model and return the original, I've already spent too much on making it actually work as it is.

I just wish that they could help remedy the situation for customers who are in too deep with the first gen model but still love their other products.
