I originally purchased another company's six round quiver while building my Marlin .45-70 because it was the one part RPP did not have at the time. While it was of very good quality, the rounds never gave me the confidence that they would stay put during recoil or bumping the rifle in the woods. Also, the tips of the rounds were exposed leaving the chance my hollowpoints could get damaged.
The new RPP quiver takes care of all of that and then some. With the o-ring system, my cartridges do not move at all unless I want them to. Also, the bullet tips are covered and supported. Damaging a hollowpoint is no longer an issue.
All in all, the new quiver is like every other RPP product on my rifle; well made, beautifully finished and very well thought out. Thanks!
