So I had to get a little help just because I was not comfortable with using a punch to remove the stock mount for the original handguard, however once I figured that out it went quickly. My friend the NRA pistol shooter was suitably impressed ( he owns a lot of cool weapons) and I admit this piece looks really sharp on my Marlin 45-70. Do be aware you will need the correct swivel if you have a sling for this weapon. Thanks very much for a very cool accessory!

Rossi 92 Heritage Citadel Ranger M-LOK 13.25" Handguard (Black)
The Ranger Point mlok rail for the Rossi 92 (357) met the expectation from all the great photos in the reviews. The mlok hand guard finish and machining are top notch. The self installation should not deter anyone as my install took approximately one hour.
Two things kept it from a 5 star review:
1. better ammo tube support on the support rail (still relied on a very tight barrel/ammo band)
2. longer length option. A 12-13inch length hand guard would have bee perfect for better light placement. installing an extended 20 slot picatinny rail overhand solved it for now.

Marlin Rossi 95 45-70 govt mag tube follower
Just installed the follower in my 1968 Marlin 336 30-30. Easy install. Replaced a cruddy, well used steel stock follower. It is lighter, fit well into the tube. No hang ups with loading, but only one trip to the range so far. I do like the red color when loading ammo. I can easily see it.
