If you're anything like me, most of you looking at a replacement aluminum forend for your lever action rifle have done a ton of research (watched YouTube videos) and know that its either Ranger Point Precision or Midwest Industries. Either one gives your rifle that futuristic "Space Cowboy" look and both have a great reviews. I personally chose the Ranger Point Precision version because I liked the square look and how it looked on a Henry.
As you will see in the photos attached, i've installed this on a Henry X 45-70. Wolf Prairie Outdoors has a great video on YouTube that describes in great detail how to install this on a Henry and Marlin rifles. Follow his video, use the right tools, and you wont have any issues doing this yourself.
My ONLY complaint is that the loading port on the tube is blocked by the forend (photo attached) It seems that adding the extra inch needed to clear the port would be ideal.

Marlin 1894 Lever Loop Straight Grip Stock | Medium Loop (black)
The loop is really nice quality and looks great on my rifle. However, I could not remove the plunger, spring, and pin out of the original loop. It has been difficult to find a replacement and the one I did get and install is to long to allow the rifle to lock up.... so that has frustrated me a lot.

Marlin Rossi 95 Lever Rifle Peep Sight Brass
Excellent fit and function. My middle aged eyes struggle with open sights in general. I was able to mount this peep sight "backwards", ie., the peep sight closer to the barrel. That mounting increased the distance just enough to be able to "see" the peep sight, while greatly improving sight distance to the front post. This peep sight, in conjunction with the Ranger Point fiber optic front sight, are an excellent option for middle aged eyes when an optic is not preferred.

VERY tight fit at first, to the point I thought I installed something wrong. Oiled it up and simply racked it constantly for a small break in period. But once I did, I cant believe I hadnt gotten it earlier.
