Didn’t work out. The semi-buckhorn sights work better for my eyes and rifle. I installed and tried to sight in, adjusted all the way right and up and still had to aim way right and high just to hit where I was intending to. Lost money due to them having a scratch from installation and removal. The factory buckhorns are better for me and my rifle

I purchased the clover aperture rear sight. Unfortunately, the "posts" of the clover were all blurry for me so it was like looking through a ghost ring. I'm 60 and I guess my eyes are not that good. Ranger point gladly refunded my money.

Changing my 2005 Marlin 30-30 336W original magazine tube to the Flyweight Shorty Magazine took some time because the rifles original handguard was shimmed into a tight fit with the barrel from the factory with what looked to be athletic tape. This forced me to meticulously and carefully sand different tight spots around the barrel to make the gap between both sides of the barrel even. Ultimately, I still had to shim the wood to the barrel directly under the barrel band as it was originally. This stopped the rattling movement from the barrel band and handguard. Overall, I am pleased with the product and look of my rifle. The work it took to free the barrel to handguard tight spots had more to do with how the manufacturer produced and fitted the handguard originally. Also, love the quick take down screw.
