Nice good looking handguard, but the tolerances are a bit loose and it's not the best fit. Even with the barrel band adapter screws completely tightened down, I still get about 0.5mm of vertical wobble on the handguard as it rotates on those screws. Other than that, pleased with the quality and finish of this handguard.

This stock is a great fit and anecdotally a few ounces lighter than the original walnut stock. Also a breeze to install, only one screw in the bottom of the rifle, a few taps, and it fit like a glove. Really appreciate the built-in shoulder padding compared to the original walnut stock too. Great modification for my Marlin 336W, highly recommended.

Contacted RPP last year about making a state of Texas edition of the takedown screw. Received mine a couple of months ago and could be more pleased. Perfect fit of course. My experience with RPP was fantastic. There was an issue with mailing the hand guard to my P.O. Box but Kimberly from their customer service called me and was quickly able to work out a viable solution. Her assistance was fantastic and I am very pleased with the purchasing experience.

The handguard was easy to install after watching the Wolf Prairie Outdoors video on YouTube and I was able to install it in half an hour.

I’m really pleased with how this product. It lets me use a side mounted sling which carries the rifle easily and lets me cycle the action while slung. I can also grip farther forward along the barrel which is what I’m used to which is great for off hand shooting.

I was hesitant to buy this hand guard given its cost, and from not really wanting to have a tactical lever gun. However, the comfort and handling of the firearm is much nicer and closer to what I’m used to with the guns at work. So in this case function beats aesthetics.

If you’re on the fence about this item I would say that it’s worth the money (after military discount). It is not as beefy as a picatinny hand guard on an M4, but appears and feels solid enough for hunting/ shooting applications. I don’t foresee any issues with the durability of this product provided it’s used within reason. Don’t do buddy rushes with it.

All things considered I would recommend this product to others. Given the quality of this product and the customer care from Ranger Point Precision I would encourage anyone looking at this company’s wares to go ahead and buy.
