This dirndl is absolutely beautiful and I give the look, fabric and craftmanship five stars. I have found that it runs very small compared to the other dirndl's I've purchased from Rare Dirndl. I ordered a 6 and it was way too small to tailor. I exchanged it for an 8 and it's still so tight, it squishes my breast down and I can't wear a bra with it. I'm going to take it to see if it can be adjusted to fit. I'm 5'3", 120-124 lbs. and a 34 C. I wear a 6 petit in dresses. Not sure why I'm having so many issues with fit on this dress-maybe the shape of the top and the buttons? I was hoping to wear it to Oktoberfest but it probably won't be ready in time assuming it can be tailored to fit me.

Beautiful Dirndl, very well constructed and nice material. The issue is sizing, the website said it was similar to Macy’s. I usually wear a medium, or size 8-10. I was advised by other friends to go up a size, I ordered a 12, the dress fit from the waist down but the bust was extremely small for a size 12. I’m a 36DD and there wasn’t a chance of zipping up the dress. I’m sending it back and ordering a size 16 to ensure the girls fit! The customer service was amazing also, I’ll re-order a larger size!

First time ordering a Dirndl, love the material. I’m usually between a size 16 or 18, so I opted for the 18 since my back is really wide. Glad I did, it was not snug at all; I am going to take it to a seamstress to take it in around the waist. Overall, would recommend others to purchase 1 LBD.
