The Everyday Dirndl: MADE-TO-ORDER
I ordered my dirndl in my normal size, but I suppose I'm rather barrel chested and we'll endowed. I struggled to fit into my dirndl at first. To be fair, I was post-delivery on my second child and needed to shed a few pounds. Once I had done that, it was still a bit tight, but doable. Looking forward to how it fits me down the road. Erika was wonderful and I was able to get a custom colored apron along with the dirndl. The length was perfect as well. Many dirndls nowadays are the shorter length I was comfortable with in high school, but after 2 kids, not so much. The longer length is more matronly, but not so conservative that I feel like I'm hiding everything either. Overall a wonderful experience and hoping to shop with her again when we can afford it.

Many different blouses would coordinate with this apron, including the traditional white blouse, which picks up the flecks of white in the apron. I am so thrilled with this dirndl. The fabric, the color, the fit. All as much if not more than I hoped for. I also love that it zippers instead of buttoning and of course that it has pockets! I received a number of compliments the first time I wore it. It is so lovely that it feels like a special occasion outfit, but I am determined to get past that idea and make this everyday dirndl something I wear often, just because I love it and feel fabulous in it.
