I have been using cheap deadener for 25 years and didn't realize what I was missing. no wrinkles or ripples from the material being folded or rolled and it adheres very nicely and doesn't stick to your scissors while you cut it. The original reason I went with second skin was other deadener I was using that were mainstream name brands were melting in my car all over the trunk latch and sunroof and damplifier is made out a better material that doesn't melt

It's the best sound dampener there is! I got 2 dc audio 18's n my 07 Silverado and I have no rattles!!! This stuff really works!!!

This product is very dense but at the same time, almost weightless. I used the peel and stick Version and would recommend it to anyone. The adhesive is so strong you will have to be very deliberate in handling it because it sticks hard to anything it touches, including your fingers. I don’t have any worries about it not stand in place.

This type was easy to work with and was surprisingly strong. It held my luxury vinyl pro perfectly on vertical installation.

A couple of years ago I installed sound dampening material throughout the cabin and trunk of my 1985 Trans Am. Although it helped, That alone, didn’t produce the results I was looking for. Then I discovered Second Skin online and began to understand how to properly sound insulate a vehicle with their three-step process. I started with my doors, and since I had already installed the sound dampening material (Step #1), I ordered Second Skins Luxury Liner Pro™ and Mega Zorbe™. I followed their directions and applied the Luxury Liner Pro™ to my inside door panel for sound blocking (Step #2). Sorry, but I forgot to take an after picture. Next I installed the Mega Zorbe™ on the outer door skin for sound absorption (Step #3). The result was pretty amazing. Since I had only done the doors, I wasn’t expecting that much of an improvement. My car feels tighter and has eliminated road noise, wind noise, metal drone, and rattles which makes my driving experience a lot better. I’m following through with the floor and trunk this weekend and can’t wait to drive it after that. This product is worth every penny and has given me great value. I would recommend this to anyone.

Was finally able to install, it's been too cold in MI.
This MLV+Foam has decreased the cabin noise from the back wall of my 2017 Tacoma. I would say it is at least an 80% reduction and I am very happy with the results.

Added damplifier Pro mats to both my engine doghouse cover and the rear cargo area of my hummer H1. I also added the Luxury Liner MLV 2lbs to the back are as well. The damplifier alone did a great job in quieting down the road noise coming from the back of the truck - however it didn't quite make as much of an impact on the doghouse cover. I'm guessing there just isn't really enough vibration in that cover for damplifier to make a difference. I'm planning on attempting to add the MLV to the cover in hopes it will keep the diesel engine noise in the engine bay where it belongs!

Just sprayed the interior of my Ford E350 RB with spectrum. Used the Second Skin spray gun and it worked great. Sprayed 2mil on the floor and about 1mil on the walls and ceiling. I noticed a huge difference while driving. Doesn’t sound like a tin can anymore! I can actually have conversations with my passengers. Would definitely recommended this product and use it again.

Worked great! Spectrum is some thick stuff and this sprayer sprays it with ease. I would recommend this if you are planning on using spectrum. I sprayed my Ford E350 RB interior in 45 mins per coat. This included walls, floor and roof
