Vehicle Soundproofing Packages
Great result from the Second Skin in my Ford F-250 where I installed the Damplifier Pro, Luxury Liner Pro, Mega Zorbe, and Heat Wave Pro. The Wooden Handle Pro worked is still going strong after applying the Damplifier Pro on the floor, back wall, and cab roof.

3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation SM600L
I accidentally ordered the wrong type/grade Thinsulate and when I reached out, Second Skin was quick to help; they swapped out my order before it shipped. The product itself was exactly as described and fit my insulation needs perfectly. Thanks.

Mega Block ™ - Hydrophobic Foam Heat Shield
My Freightliner cab is 2 inches from where the turbo dumps into the exhaust. I put this underneath the cab and in the doghouse. Before the floor board and fire wall were getting to 136F. Now it’s almost ambient temp. Night and Day. Also the customer service is crazy good. They called to tell me that there may be a defect with the sheets and offered to replace. Didn’t know companies still did that

Luxury Liner Pro™ MLV + Foam Auto Sound Barrier Sheets
If you're looking to dramatically quiet your interior, this is the stuff you need to install. Laid this under the flooring in my Tahoe project, over damplifier pro with seams overlapped and sealed with gorilla tape. The factory jute and carpet was reinstalled over it. Fitment can make interior reassembly tight, so be mindful while installing, but aim for as continuous coverage as possible. The sound stage is incredible and the truck sounds like a tomb now. Just what I was aiming for. Thank you Second Skin!

Damplifier™ Deadening Mats
The Second Skin Damplifier Pro came packaged well and received in perfect condition. I applied the Damplier Pro in my 1997 Ford F-250 to reduce the echo of the sheet metal on the roof, side panels, rear cab wall and floor. There was a significant reduction in the echo in every area with 60% coverage. Next I'll be working on the doors and hood.

Sound Lock™ Adjustable Door Seal Kit
I have a total of four of these bottom door seals installed (along with the side and upper door seams) as a solution between two rooms being used simultaneously by musicians with amplified instruments.
We already had a buffer room separating the two rooms, solid wood core doors, along with wall panels separated by floating studs designed to minimize sound transmission. However, we were still getting significant sound transmission.
We had tried placing a much more inexpensive adhesive rubber gasket around the door with very little improvement.
With this system, however, the reduction in sound transmission was dramatic and suited our needs perfectly. We immediately received positive comments on how there is now minimal to no noise transmission, with one group even not realizing that there was amplified music going on in the other room.
If sound reduction is a priority for your application, definitely consider this product! I would get this system again in a heartbeat!

Better than Dacron

EcoVerb™ Roll - Acoustic Insulation Roll
Been using the product now on a few prototype speakers, in place of Dacron, for the 'layer two' damping (over mass loaded vinyl or dynamat type products): Works like Dacron with an effective additional bonus of better STC qualities.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
I was skeptical / unsure of what I needed to use on cargo van to reduce road-noise and other "empty-can" noise .. I also explained my concerns vs priorities, and one of their team members ensured that he addressed my concerns and provided needed insight. Staff are professional & intentional. Thank you! May each of you continue to thrive in all you do!

Ford Transit gets some quiet

Luxury Liner Pro™ MLV + Foam Auto Sound Barrier Sheets
I installed Damplifier Pro and Luxury Liner Pro in the doors of my 2024 Ford Transit (Winnebago Ekko platform). That and the same treatment in the overhead cap I had previously completed has turned the driving experience into a much more pleasant experience. It took a few hours to fit the pieces onto the door skins. We are now on a 4 week excursion through southern Utah and couldn’t be happier with the sound deadening effect these additions have made. Highly recommend both products for ease of use, quality, technical support and overall outcome.
