The bare exhaust pipe runs about 4 inches below the wood floor boards and about thar far below the fuel tankand the wood gets uncomfortably hot for the passenger and the fuel. The insulation will be out of site on the bottom side trying to keep the heat away. Additionally the exhaust pipe will be wrapped in header wrap.

Works great! Easy to cut into shape, and it blocked most road noise I rate a 5 stars.

have used damplifier mats in the past and continue to use them for new projects. they work well for deadening vibrations.

I like it because it keeps the heat out of my semi it’s not that noisy in here too and it’s almost perfect size for my 2015 freightliner Cascadia

I've been a long time user of second skin products, but this was my first time installing overkill. I purchased this to seal over the factory moisture barriers in the doors of my tahoe, to help keep the doors sealed up and add a decoupling layer between the sheet metal and plastic door panels. This stuff was very easy to work with, cuts nicely with a razor and sticks incredibly well to a cleaned and prepped surface. I ended up having more than I needed, so while things were apart I lined the hvac blower boxes and ductwork with damplifier to add mass and overkill to add an insulative layer. I also used it to wrap a module that sits between the headliner and roof to ensure no rattles. Small strips were used along metal support brackets behind plastic trim strategically for the same reason. Overall, great experience and another great product from the guys at second skin!

I ordered a total of four door kits, and the kits arrived timely and in great condition. The door kits are clearly a quality product, very sturdy and will undoubtedly last a long time. The provided online installation instructions were clear. I was able to install two door kits by myself without any issues, each taking roughly 1.5-2 hours to complete; I definitely took my time to ensure the perfect fit for all the parts, measuring 4-5x before making the necessary cuts.

The completed install came out perfectly, both in terms of aesthetics and more importantly, function. The bottom plate that deploys downward forming a seal with the floor when the door is closed is such an effective feature. Both the clients and myself noticed an immediate and substantial improvement in sound proofing around the treated doors, with zero air gaps remaining in the door ways. If I need more doors treated in the future, I will be ordering the same kits from this company!

Easy to order. Pallet was dropped at the end of my driveway. Material was in good shape. Unrolled, cut, and installed very easily. Room was soundproofed and thermally insulated.

My son put this in for me in my Ford Transit 250 van. I can hear myself think! We can keep the dogs in the van with a fan and it is cool enough. On our way to our van conversion.

Soundproofed my Class C Rv. It has a Ford E450 chassis. Soundproofed the front wheel wells, hood, doors, doghouse and front cab floor going up the firewall and over the wheel well humps.
Used Damplifier Pro(floor,doghouse,doors), Luxury Liner Pro(floor), Spectrum( wheel wells), Mega Zorbe(door skins), Mega Block(doghouse and hood). Worked great. Noticeable reduction in sound on the highway. Just did an 11 hour interstate trip. Engine noise greatly reduced especially under hard acceleration. Radio volume is much lower and speaking at normal levels even at 65mph. Very happy with the results. Guys at Second Skin were very responsive, and detailed in they're response, and communicated both by phone and email. Delivery was extremely prompt as well. Very nice company. Highly recomend.

We installed approximately 500 square feet of 2 inch thick PolyZorbe panels on the bottom side of metal roof deck in a meeting room of one of our church buildings. It reduced the reverberation time enough to make speech understandable and helped turn the space into one of our most requested rooms for meetings.

This is the first time we have used these clips. It's nice that it saves some room for the ceiling that we were doing. It was also very easy and straightforward to install. We did a lot of sound measures to this ceiling and this was a very important part of it.

We love our reverse osmosis system, but the pump is pretty loud and kicks on frequently, right next to my wife's office space. There was very limited room under there for soundproofing material, but the 1/8 inch Luxury Liner was perfect for lining the whole cabinet. It was easy to install and actually gives the inside of the cabinet a much cleaner look than it it had before! This material does a nice job of keeping the noise contained in the cabinet, and we're very happy with the result.

This is a awesome product. I actually feel the difference when I enter my car after being parked all day.

Big reduction in white noise emitted from my return boxes in my HVAC system. Of course the larger the box, the more you can install and the more reduction you get, but it worked well for both my very large double box, and my regular small box. I used 2" and the recommended adhesive. Easy enough to install, just wipe box clean, spray and stick.

I was recently sound deadening my already quite vehicle. My model of Lexus has a lot of dead space behind the rear tires in the quarter panel that causes road noise to resonate up through the cabin. This 3M helped tremendously. Where space allowed I lined interior plastics with it, pretty much anywhere it would fit. Now I have a Lexus that’s on aggressive AT tires but with the cabin quietness of an S Class Mercedes.

I used a mat fixed underneath a stainless steel kitchen sink to deaden the sound of dishwashing. It works perfectly and has not peeled off as inferior products have in the past.
