Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
Music is now full soundstage with clean sound at high volume. Road noise is reduced dramatically as well. Absolutely love it.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
I bought Second Skin to try to reduce vibration being picked up from the hollow plastic plinth of my automatic Kenwood turntable. I filled the bottom of it with a few irregular shaped pieces and layers in places to fit around the mechanics, and put irregular shapes in other unobtrusive areas...
I’ve found it cleaned up the bass and detail in the music, most noticeably at higher volume. The turntable operation seems a bit quieter and am overall pleased with the result, considering the minimal cost investment. The extra heft helps further reduce footfalls from my bouncy wood floors.
I still have a full sheet and some good sized scraps left over I might try adding as well. I did make a few changes and mistakes, but found the material easy enough to remove for my do-overs. I used scissors, hobby knife and straight edge to trim it. If doing this, be mindful of how sharp the trimmed edge of the foil constrain layer can be.

So far I like the forty mill a lot. You can save weight or double it up which I think works better than the standard 80 mill. The price on some things are a little to high to me though

B-STOCK: Damplifier Sound Deadening Mats (20 sheets, 40 sq ft) - SAVE 35%!
Great product, used it on my sons trophy truck Explorer, race truck. I insulated the entire front floor boards and then carpeted over it. No heat transferred and super quiet compared to the rest of the floor. I still have more left, to do the rear floors before the next Baja trip. Great product, and the “second” quality material, as good, or better than any other company’s “first” quality.

Damplifier Pro™ CLD Tiles (Free Ship to to ALL USA)
This stuff is amazing! It was so easy to work with and made such a difference. Used it on all four doors when I was installing new speakers. Makes opening and closing doors feel like a much more expensive car. Overall road and car noise is reduced by a lot. Almost feels like I'm in a soundproof capsule. Will be ordering more to do the floor of my car!

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
While more expensive than some others, you get what you pay for here. Professionals use Second Skin for a reason. They can't trust builds to Chinese made junk from Amazon which is made of fillers and god knows what else. I suggest to people all the time that they consider USA made and highly effective sound control products from Second Skin, or don't bother at all!

B-STOCK: Damplifier Sound Deadening Mats (20 sheets, 40 sq ft) - SAVE 35%!
For me the B-stock is a great value. The way I figure it's all going to be covered anyway. Who cares that it might have a wrinkle I didnt put in it. I love the black finish with the subtle logo, much nicer than trying to cover it up so it doesnt show. In fact I just bought some more on their Cyber Monday sale.

Damplifier Pro™ Sound Deadening Mat
Easy to use and apply. Very sticky, stays in place. Used it to dampen ringing noises on copper farm house sink. Except for the roof I have the whole cab of my 2002 GMC 2500 HD Duramax lined with this stuff. Great stuff. Watch out for sharp edges when applying
