I chose this .44 magnum loading as a bear defense round while archery elk hunting in grizzly country. The 320 grain bullet at over 1200 FPS will be a formidable deterrent. This round is a confidence builder. I really hope to never test its effectiveness.

Worked great! This was the only commercial ammo in this bullet weight that would reliably operate my Nambu. It fed and extracted flawlessly, even with the original matching number magazine, which is not in the best condition. My Nambu was made in September of 1941 and has had the Wolff spring set installed.
