I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and function of the round in my 1935 S. I tried another manufacturer that used reformed brass that didn't function well in my firearm. But this functioned flawlessly. Both the gun and ammunition shoot better than I do. I am so glad to have someone producing these hard to get cartridges that make my collection that much more enjoyable. Thanks!

It is nice to real 7.65 long I have others which I think are reworked SW 32 brass. Accurate and both me 32 French pistols feed and work well. When weather is better will use more.

GREAT AMMO; Functions without a hitch. Some competitors use soft point bullets and not enough or the wrong powder and the rims not quite right which sometimes causes malfunctions. But these are loaded @ 1,020 FPS with the OAL just right,properly Headstamped cases and FMJ bullets makes Steinel's ammo perfect!!!Thank so much

45/70 Government 405gr. RNFP Trapdoor Load
I have not gotten to fire them yet, however the price is the best I have seen for trapdoor loads. I would rather reload but brass for 45-70 is expensive, as are the bullets, for this price point they beat out the competition.
Upon searching many retailers want almost as much per shell for once fired brass for 45-70, many times more than new brass, it seems 45-70 for old loads is a reloaders specialty and reloading companies figured it out and aimed to jack up prices to stupid levels knowing there is a limited market.
I hope they fire well, I have not slugged the bore yet to see clearance, but plan to re use the brass to load either pyrodex or blackpowder 2f loads, the price point is unbeatable, and their ammo actually came in good condition, whereas many store bought ammo's I have bought came dented like handling and care was a low priority.
