Update: Same day as my original review. I updated my review to 5 stars because I really do think this is the best option on the market. It's Sunday and Super-Feed has already responded to my review with an apology for the power supply. The do not manufacture the power supply and therefore cannot warranty it but the quick response is very much appreciated. They state that clearly in the return policy and I was aware of it. They do offer an 'outdoor' power supply which I may try as a replacement. If I do, I will be sure to leave a review about it as well.

I bought this feeder because I needed a solution to feed our 'barn cats' for extended periods of time. I added a second hopper and verified that the two hoppers together hold about 10 lbs of food. The hoppers worked flawlessly while we were in Europe for 6 weeks. We had neighbors check it several times just to ensure it was still working. This feeder allows us to be gone and not have to have someone come by daily to feed the cats.
I only gave it 4 stars because I left to go out of town for a little over a week and when I got back the cats were acting like they hadn't eaten for several days. We did have someone come by mid-week to check the food and all was well so it couldn't have been more than two days without food. There are plenty of mice in the field so I wasn't worried about only checking every several days. It turns out the power supply had stopped working. This was after being in use for a little over 5 months. The power supply is not included in the warranty but 5 months is not very long. Also, the feeder is outside but completely out of the weather and has not been exposed to any extreme temperatures.
I like this feeder very much and would recommend it without reservation. It is far superior to anything on the market for a nearly unsupervised and long-term solution.

We’ve had our super feeder for going on 10 years and it’s been running flawlessly. We’ve had it mounted to a piece of wood on our wall and split the food to go into multiple bowls. Now that we only have one cat we decided to take it off the wall and use this stand. I really appreciate that this company sells whatever parts you need, even nearly a decade later I can get whatever parts are needed or I want to change. Great service, great product and great company!

I recently needed to replace this part due to my failure to protect the feeder from tipping over because of racoons. They definitely find their way into everything

Very happy with this feeder and so are the cats.

I bought the feeder and got it working. Then an animal chewed through the power cord. Gerry helped me over the phone to select and wire a new cord using an old laptop power supply. It took about an hour to get it running again!

Until she got spooked when it activated as she was eating. Takes some fine tuning to get everything right.

ETA: My cat is used to it now. Sorry for any confusion! Our initial setting was giving too much food and when she was eating that, it startled her. Now when she hears it, she knows that it food time!

Plastic seems to be brittle on these. Managed to break the plastic on the original one. Parts were available and hopefully these hold up better because the feeder itself is awesome.

This was the perfect solution for our outdoor cat. The installation video was easy to follow, though the website is somewhat difficult to navigate.

Excellent fish feeder. The fish feeder and feeding funnel is designed very well. Recommendation to NOT purchase the external timer. The external timer Is very faulty

Raccons have found a way to pop it off. lasted a year the fisrt time guess they are getting smarter.

I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to do a very small amount of flakes for my 10 gallon tank and it does it perfectly. I made a simple wooden stand to support it and cut an opening in the top to line up the funnel with the feeder. I connected it with a Kasa smart plug and it works like perfectly!

After 10 years of pretty regular use, it was finally time for a replacement.

I LOVE my super feeder, but after 14 years (yes, really!) the roller needed replacing. Watched the video on the website to see how to replace, only took a few minutes. The super feeder is a model of right to repair, love being able to get replacement parts after all these years!

We got this because we travel a lot and our farm cats need food that can be locked away from nefarious raccoons. This feeder works great and the wifi plugs help me schedule feedings while we are away. We have built a cabinet around the feeder and can fill it by opening a door and no more marauding raccoons.
Excellent product.

Finished mounting the feeder on a DIY wooden mount attached to a deck that overhangs our pond. I was able to easily connect it to a nearby outlet via a Lutron Caseta outdoor smart plug and set up the needed feeding automation. I used the Caseta device rather than the one supplied since I wanted Apple HomeKit integration - everything pond related is in HomeKit now. Calibrating the feeding settings was straight forward and will be easy to adjust with types of food and seasons. Great product and I would recommend it.

we have being using this Feeder for a long time, more than 10 or 12 years. We have made changes to the bowl and we can travel with almost no worries . we built a enclosure to protect from rain and weather and it's great! good price range .
