Was looking for a simple, reliable, well made automated cat feeder with the options for customization in the future. I looked at some of the bigger brand options, but didn't like the reliance on various "smart" apps and internet connectivity. Was absolutely willing to pay a little more for something that is sure to last for a lifetime and isn't tied to some subscription or data mining operation.
As far as the operation goes, we've had the feeder for several weeks and it has been working flawlessly. It look a bit of trial and error to get it dispensing the correct amount of food dependably. However, now that it's setup we've had no issues and our cat already knows to spring across the apartment when she hears it start to dispense.

We had a super feeder in the past that we had inside our shed that shot out through the wall. Our cats passed away and we have 4 feral cats for the past three years. This time, it’s outside, in a large hefty trash can, chute from inside ( first night a raccoon ate the plastic chute attached to the feeder. We had to build walls around the trash can, wing nut the screws on the top. Secure the whole apparatus to the wall. It took a lot of work, but it looks sleek after painting the wall to match the trash can. Also, the apparatus is under a car port so the food doesn’t get wet. We also added a motion spot light and camera. This wasn’t our first rodeo!

I bought a Super Feeder for my cat in 2013 and it has never missed a step. Only because of my kitty standing on the feeder attempting to get a free meal did I have to replace the cracked housing. To my surprise, you still sold the exact same housing and one that could still use my existing motor and electronics.
