I was a little skeptical at first because of the price. My wife and travel a lot so we needed something to feed our outdoor cat when we were away. I purchased the Cat feeder in December 2011. I built a wooden enclosure and has been outdoors from day one. I live in Southern Michigan so it sees temperatures from -10F to 100F. It is still working excellent to this day. I highly recommend this feeder to anyone that is looking for a high quality feeder that will last.
If you use these feeders outdoors you will have to adjust the volume adjustment screw differently in summer and winter to get the same amount of food per activation. I think the plastic inside is softer with warm temperatures so it allows more food to flow out when it is warmer outside.

There are several lower cost options out there but after reading on line reviews, most of them had a variety of documented performance issues. The first clue that this feeder was above average in nature was the careful, protective packaging it came in. The second indication of a quality product was the enclosed checklist of enclosed parts that demonstrated strong quality control measures. The third indication, was the detailed, easy to understand instructions. The only minor issue we had was getting the digital timer programed. The directions for the timer were a bit lacking and confusing. Over all, we love this product and even better yet, so does out cat. So looking forward to many more uninterupted early mornings of sleep. So refreshing to see an obvious concern for a well designed product. Thanks.

Bought the basic basic basic super feeder to see how our Little Shit will react to it as he's used to waking us up at quarter to 4 in the morning for food. Best purchase ever. We can wake up peacefully in the morning and he isn't scared of it. It takes awhile to adjust the food dispensing, but we got it down pat. Then realized that our vacation wasn't going to coincide with how much we feed him so we bought an extender. Then we realized we can't go on vacation longer than 8 days. So we bought this. Wow. Its huge, but not clunky looking. The Little Shit immediately tried to topple it off, but it came with a bracket so we bolted it down. We can now go on to extended vacation knowing that our Little Shit is well fed. This company is amazing! Fast shipping too. They have my business and everyone I talk to.

I decided to purchase this product at the recommendation of my sister, who has owned it for over a year. After owning the Super-Feeder for a couple of weeks, I am very impressed. Set up was super easy with the video the company provides. I have the control to decide exactly how much and when the food will dispense. Also, the customer service from owner Gerard was unexpected and appreciated. I ordered the feeder last minute after discovering I needed to leave town suddenly, with no one to feed my cat. I ordered with 3 day shipping, but after FedEx failed to pick up the package, I got a phone call from Gerard as well as an email letting me know that I could reorder with faster shipping. I would imagine if I had any problems in the future, the company would do anything to help me. Definitely recommend.

This is a simple part: Nothing can go wrong with it except wearing out. My interaction with the vendor was at least A+. But...
The instructions for how to replace were not quite up to snuff: The text was adequate, but the pictures were not helpful. Diagrams would be better than photos here (black plastic doesn't make for good photos). Despite that, I had no real trouble getting things apart and back together, but I did it mainly by personal examination, not by following instructions.

The digital timer allows us to have the cats eat when we eat. They have learned quite quickly that feeding time is when the kibbles hit the dish and no other. In fact, they will sit in front of the feeders and wait. They become rather good at telling time.

This is the second SuperFeeder I have purchased. The first one is about 3 years old and works great. I purchase the second so the cats each have their own. The feeder is well built, but our monsters still require their feeders to be armored (we built a feeder stand and protective shielding). All other feeders are inconsistent and fussy in comparison. This feeder takes a little time to understand, especially if you don't have an engineering brain, but once you get it, it doesn't fail very often. Sometimes you need to check the amount it dispenses as it can change slightly over time. And I had to get a new floor with new electronics, but only after years of daily use, and I only had to buy the part instead of a new feeder. Thanks Super Feeder!

I tried different models of food dispensers and they don'T last or don't work as advertised.... till now! Superfeeder is very good. I installed my 2 machines (have 2 cats and they don't share!) in minutes. Works great as advertised. Very compact units and seem very robust and durable. Only downside is the adjustments. The time knob would be nice if it had a more precise mesure than turning half turn each time!
Also a graduated width adjustment for the pellets. Since I have 2 machines would have been easier to configure the same!
I recommend this product to every pet ownwers.
