We have two Standard Poodles and one has Addisons Disease so it is important to keep his weight under control and the best way to do that is with automatic pet feeders. Unfortunately, and until I discovered the Super Feeders, we have gone through approximately ten (10) Aspenpet "lebistro" pet feeders. Initially they seem to work fine but they don't hold up well and the plastic "fingers" start breaking off. The Super Feeders are truly GREAT!!!! I highly recommend Super Feeders and I only wish I would have gone to them along time ago.

Hopper is easy to fill with lid that screws on tight. impenetrable to that pesky Cat attack. Kibble flows free without locking up. The volume allows the feeder to go for weeks before needing refill for Two cats.

I have a cat that requires multiple small feedings during the day. The Super-Feeder with the analog timer was the only feeder that did the full job. My only problem was determining which tool was to be used for the fine increment adjustment of the amount of food to be dispensed. The little adjustment tool for the food dispensing amount should be labeled in such a way that it is not used where the Phillips head screw driver should be use. Fortunately, I didn't break the delicate little thing. So far I have not had to adjust the amount of food again. I am not sure that the little delicate tool would make it through another adjustment session.

It arrived on time, assembled as described. The fish love it! I like the simplicity and the fact that it doesn't use batteries. It's connected to an inexpensive outdoor analog timer, which is the same type that controls my pond pump. My fish get fed twice per day; don't need a digital timer. And it there's a power outage, the fish still get fed, just a little later

I purchased the Superfeeder a few years ago for when we go on vacation, so the use is sporadic. It works great and distributes the correct amount of food. The cats will hover around when the timer is set to go off so they do learn. Never had any problems with it and it is very well made. I decided to buy a second one to supplement the first one since I have a cat with a special diet.
The only issue that might happen is the connection between the feeder and large hopper. It is held by friction and a small screw, if knocked over it might possibly break or if lifted by the hopper. A solution would be to use clear packing tape to make a cat proof solid connection.

Love this feeder. It allows wife and I to sleep through the night. Was worried our very smart cat would figure out how to burgle food from it. Happily that hasn't happened. We have two cats and they both run to it when it drops food (8 times per day). So far they seem to take turns eating. Occasionally they will eat together. The only suggestion I have is to make a bowl that splits the food to the far left and right sides of the bowl. Otherwise the food falls to the middle of the bowl and they are less likely to share at the same time.

Purchased 2 Superfeeders for my 2 cats. One is a locksmith and I can say that he hasn't succeeded in attaining the food and it's not as if he hasn't tried. He's can't wait for us to get up at 5:30 he wants to eat earlier. We're now able to sleep until the alarm goes off. We can now go camping for the weekends without having someone coming over every day for the cats. So it's freedom for everyone. Very easy to adjust and the quantity is very close 9 times out of 10.

I have been using this feeder for about a week, and so far am very satisfied with it. The video was very helpful in setting it up-- I followed it step by step and had no problems with the set up at all. I like the ruggedness of this feeder, the small footprint (although I wish the two clear extensions were larger, but now that I've used it for a few days, I will order the large hopper), and the mechanical design. I am using Purina Healthy Metabolism food which is NOT round and smooth, but has odd shapes. Although Superfeeder recommends smooth round kibble, this food seems to be working fine so far. I purchase the analog timer version, but am not using that time-- I had a digital one and am running it on that without any problem.

Over the past 8 years, I have purchased 3 Ergo auto pet feeders. One is still running but on the other two, the augers broke (one after 7.5 years and one after six months!). I've always disliked the design of the Ergo feeder. The mechanics of the auger can cause food to get stuck in the auger (which broke the two I owned), it is extremely difficult to take apart to clean, and even the smallest version has a large footprint.

Providing no problems develop with the Superfeeder down the road, I have switched from Ergo to Superfeeder for future purchases.

I have installed my feeder inside a tack room in my barn with the food being delivered twice a day via 2" PVC.

I would like to commend your company on both quality service and equipment. The products came neatly packaged and using the video for both the feeder and the digital timer I was able to program the timer and set up and calibrate the feeder. It works perfectly!!!

I want to praise you and your family for doing things right, working together in a harmonious manner to deliver this quality product to the consumer.

Super feeders are the best feeders you can buy. These extensions allow me to travel for weeks with out the fear my cats won't be fed. Worth the money

Looked at lots of cheapies, but I wanted one with a cord. No batteries.....and there are't many options. This looks as if it will last forever!

So the pictures of the little clear food containers for this product can be a little misleading when you don't read the capacity clearly like I did (my fault) but they are pretty darn small. Had to order this extra and the shipping charges are painful. $50 altogether just for a plastic container that would interface with the feeder. Well, it does the job but it is pricey to buy separately. Do yourself a favor and just choose the combo pack with the 1.5G hopper, it'll save you a fortune in shipping charges. Gave this 4 stars because of its cost. Sorry to sound negative, I'm pleased with the product but not with the overall cost.

While I really like the auto-feeder, the availability of setting multiple feeding times and the capacity of the food holder, the timer seems to not function for the programed time scheduled. I set the timer to release food for two minutes. It barely runs for 30 seconds before shutting off. I don't understand why this is happening.

My first one lasted over the Koi pond for several years. It finally gave up the ghost. The new one works just as well as the first, it was just more expensive. I have it on an Insteon timer and works very well.
I added a large reservoir (Costco nut jar) to the top which allows me to leave town for several weeks at a time without refilling.

My wife and I breed show rabbits. They are kept on a pretty strict feeding schedule so that they are in top shape. We attach these units over the J feeders on each cage. We have digital timers for each rabbit so we can take care of their individual needs. Even though rabbits generally spook pretty easy, mine came to the feeders after the auto feeder stopped and ate normally. We plan to use these units for nights when we are out past the regular feeding time or for weekend trips. Will be buying a nanny cam so I can see the feeders working. Definitely recommend them, they worked like a charm.

Overall this looks like a quality product that will work for years to come. I am using the Science Diet kibbles as is recommended. It will not give out a consistent amount of kibbles though. I spent A LOT of time adjusting the timer and the opening of the door on the chute. I weigh the food for my cats and it could vary from 12 to 29 grams. I finally found a setting that is was comfortable with and left it at that. I only use the feeders when I leave for the weekend or go on vacation. So, it is not a huge deal for me, they are getting fed. If you are trying to put a cat on a diet and want very precise amounts of kibbles, then I am not so sure this is a good choice. I had feeders that were a tray and the lid moved to feed the cats. This of course you measure ahead of time so it is always right on. My old feeders did not work anymore since my new cat would just flip the lid off and all of the food was gone right away. If you have a cat that figures out how to get into food. The Super-Feeders will work perfect. I will say that there is some chance of them 'hitting/pawing' at the feeder and some kibbles can fall out. The base is wide and stable though. You can minimize this by setting the door chute a little tighter. Of course the feeder can always be mounted to a 2x4 and secured to the wall.

Again, these seem to be excellent feeders that should be the last I will every need to purchase. I am very happy that I got them.

This is the best auto feeder! Being able to buy accessories and/or parts is simply unheard of these days. A family run business makes all the difference. Customer service is wonderful and personal. These people really care about what they are making and selling. The feeder is adaptable to any situation. It works exactly as they say it will. My 4 cats love it! I have 2 feeders and they are used every day - not just on vacation. If you are considering an auto feeder, look no farther. This is the one to buy!

This unit has been in service as a cat feeder for over a decade now. The old style tube pieces have finally cracked. I have ordered the new style tube pieces which are even better made. I have also taken the opportunity to clean it thoroughly and it appears to me that everything else is still in perfect working condition, including the nylon roller, which surprised me a little. Our cat cannot control his eating and this device changed his behavior in a wonderful way. Eventually he stopped worshipping the device, trusting that the food would be there whenever he was ready. I'm sure some people look at this and see something a little pricey and there's something sort of DIY about it that's off-putting but this is without a doubt the best money I've ever spent on a product in my 48 years on this planet. Over a decade of use = good price. Initial learning curve = nearly zero maintenance. And I've told many people this over the years. If the motor ever wears out, I'll be back. Also, thanks for making upgrades and parts available. So cool.
