If I'd known it didn't do different size kibble I wouldn't have bought it. So now I pick out the large pieces or change food to stay with this feeder. The feeder does work well and adjustment is as described. Very instructionally orientated so you can't go wrong, don't get overwhelmed with the instructions. As with anything, time will tell if it stands the test of time. Why doesn't anyone make an auger style feeder?

Very sturdy, built like a tank. iWorks like a dream, dispensing meals with the right amount and the right time. Each part of the unit seems to have been designed to foil cat burglars. So far, no break-ins. My two cats (one smart enough to figure out how things work, the other big and strong enough to just break them) have tried to get into it, They broke into other auto-feeders in hours. This one has them stumped. They are learning what time it serves dinners, and they are actually more patient with it than they have ever been with me. It was a little hard to assemble, though the instructions were excellent. I figure the screws are tiny to help cat-proof it. Other than that, no problems. Great product. Wish I would have bought it years ago.

This feeder is a genius design. I've used one for several years and it keeps my Koi happy, especially when we are out of town. I replaced the dispencer unit this year. It appears I did not close the protective cover well last year and water got in, affecting the circuit board... my bad. What I like best is the ability to change the number of feedings per day easily using an external timer.

This feeder works very consistently. I had purchased a different type of feeder that used a conveyor belt to transport kibbles and it had a seam on the belt where kibbles would inevitably get stuck and the motor would burn up. This is a great design and well made. Love my simple analog timer. We built a stand abd enclosed the feeder in a cabinet. We copied ideas from posts on the website. So far, raccoons and possums are not able to get to the feeder to damage. It has only been a couple of weeks, but great so far!

Thank you very much for your review. Please keep in mind that a second hopper could be stacked on the existing one to give you about 44 cups of capacity by volume. Although this adds another 14 inches more to overall height, many customers have done that.

So far it is awesome. We do a lot of traveling and needed something to feed our three outdoor cats while we are away. We had tried a few other products, but they did not stand up to the weather and such. This one seems like it is doing a great job.

Thank you very much for the nice review. Don't worry, your cat will love the sound of the feeder going off and will go for it from anywhere in the house. The only problem may be your pet falling in love with it too much. As for the price, yes it is higher than most, but thousands of customers still have their feeder operating after decades of use with all parts readily available.
