My first time running this distance, but maybe shouldn't of as had a tight calf.! But I got through it and finished which was the main thing. The start was a bit cramped so no chance of stretching, the course was very challenging but I did enjoy the atmosphere and the marshaling was excellent. Plenty of areas for drinks but what a waste though as I only needed sips of water, the children with sweets were brilliant and kind of kept me going. Overall very impressed and proud of my achievement and will treasure my medal and t-shirt. Thankyou for the opportunity and All of you keep up the Good Work many thanks Sean Brown.

Came from Colchester to participate in this event & wasnt disappointed. Excellent marshalls, loved the undulating course, entertainment on route, drinks stations loved the fact they the marshalls handed over the bottles so we could grab them.
Only negitive, i ended up with a Large T-Shirt, us slower runners had no choice!
Will definately recommend this event.

Great race and very well supported..volunteers do amazing things!! My only comment for reflection is that I was very aware of how much water and energy drink gets literally one sip out of them and then the bottle dis guarded. It would b fantastic to use recyclable cups and less liquid! Did really enjoy every other aspect of the run.

My first ever half marathon and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well organised and all water/energy spots were in the right places. My only thing I would suggest for the future would be more music around the course but other than that it was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend to friends and family to give it a try.

this was my first half marathon at this event and I really enjoyed it, especially as I set a new personal best. plenty of drink stations around the course with the added bonus of an energy station about half ways round.

I enjoyed the run, the route was clear and there were lots of facilities along the way and a great goody bag and medal, but signposting to the race village, facilities and start line was poor. My friends who live outside of exeter struggled to find the event start and ended up in a rush to get to the start as the map supplied was not very useful. There were also very few marshalls at the start, especially towards the back. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience and I would do it again!

A really good day and well organised. Only dislike were elements of the route...starting on sidwell street, surely there's nicer places of Exeter?! The quay and cathedral didn't feature either. These are only basic suggestions. I had a fantastic day and would do it again and again! Thank you.

The one thing I did notice is that you ran out of most of the goodie bags for people who finished over 2hours 30mins.. Apart from that it was a brilliantly organised event. Thankyou!

The event was very good overall. However the starting point/village could of been in a better location, perhaps in the same location as it just makes things much easier and a better overall experience. Similar to how the Plymouth Half Marathon is on the hoe.
But the course itself was really good and it was nice having the road closures in place.
