Does this one really have no extra lace unlike before? The tops of my foot hurts a little when worn extended hours, might be my foot starts to swell and the shoes fits tightly at the tops of my foot but the materials under the lace could have been more comfy.

These shoes are amazing, but it takes time. For the first week the shoes felt tight and left deep indents in the top of my feet from the laces, even after i loosened them. Thats the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. They are great though! After i broke them in, I wore them without socks throughout a 2 week trip in India. During Monsoon season! They dry quickly, look professional enough for me to be able to wear them to the meetings I was there for, and are comfy. Give it a week after getting them--and then I bet the phenomenal reviews that prompted my purchase won't seem so far fetched. Because they truly are great shoes!

It is not a magic shoe that will dry your feet after being soaked in water or after a heavy rain.
