These shoes are the only one I want to wear!
Comfortable, ultra light, super breathable.

Definitely not my last pair of Tropicfeel!

I love my Tropicfeel shoes. They are lightweight and great for traveling. I love the versatility of the shoe - that I can wear it for hiking or around town. Unfortunately for me, the shoe doesn't fit quite right and sometimes I get blisters on my heel from the flap in the back. Wearing socks helps prevent that, but I still don't understand the blue flap lining. Is it supposed to be up or down? My husband also found them to run a little small. We both would also appreciate a little more arch support for added comfort. In addition, they were great in water (walking in rivers) but didn't dry as fast as I had expected. Despite these complaints, they are still a great shoe and I highly recommend them!

Shoelaces were too long

being using for a few weeks, perhaps months now. the cords still hurt a bit. hoping either the shoe or the feet will get used eventually, because i love most of everything else about it. also, haven't gave much of a water test to it, but the only time i've tried it on the beach it accumulated way more sand i'd expect (probably i'm just dumb there) and it took way over a day to dry up (although i left it in the closed bathroom). no insights still about the odor free feature... still, i'd buy another one to keep testing anyway. loved it in general. not so much how long it took to ship (over 6 months), which is a lot even for a kickstarter (but still better than never getting it - the risk is always there). cheers!

The shoes are amazing! They arrived really fast and in a good condition. They are so so little I feel like I'm not wearing anything, and still stylish!

The long wait - from funding to delivery, was worth it. It would have been better if the timeline was followed though.

Very good shoes. Fresh and comfy

Generally very pleased with these in terms of fit, look and overall aesthetics. That said I have a concern over the build quality.. I think they are pretty robust, but I have noticed after literally only 3 or 4 days of usage, the plastic at the very top of the toe is pulling away from the mesh upper where it should be sealed on. I’m only seeing this in the right foot, the left is fine. I’ll keep an eye on this over the next few days and hope it doesn’t deteriorate otherwise that would be a very big issue in such an expensive shoe.
If that issue gets fixed then I will be super happy.

Positive:
- Comfortable
- Quick Dry
- No need for socks
- Very light
- Does not get dirty

Negative
- Not as breathable as advertised, still get sweaty feet

Personally, I don't like how the elastic band above the shoe and behind the ankle turned out. After a mere couple of days or a week, it was already giving me trouble, was a bit deformed, and at some point even gave me some light skin bruising there after running for half an hour (nothing excessive), even with the sock between it and the skin at all times.

Also, I haven't put the waterproofing much to use or to the test, but the few spills that I've come across have made me feel that the shoe isn't waterproof at all.

Although they are extremely comfortable and light, I guess you can't have everything in a shoe (like they seemed to try to do at first when I saw the campaign), because they are REALLY susceptible to the cold, to the point where you can't wear comfortable at night in moderately cold wheather (around 5ºC).

That said, I am pretty happy with them and only want to let you know what I feel are the weakest points of the shoe, so that you may improve them if possible at all.

Light weight, comfortable, and affordable. Now to see how they hold up!

The size is little when compared to shoes from other brand

What I like about them is that they do not extent or they do not protrude.
They fit spot on.
I would have liked a little more height.
either i buy 43 and place inside a sole insert that will add height and confort

What is amazing is not the weight. they are light but so are dozens of others but the way they hold the ground Zero slippage.

I will buy another one side bigger so that I can benefit from an insert insole to give it height

They are great shoes, only wish the stretchy laces were a bit shorter, the shoes are therefore a bit on the loose side for me with these laces

The shoes look very smart and are very light. My left shoe fits like a glove but the right slightly rubs above my heel. I hope it improve with wear.

All's good, but I should have just bought a size down.

They where just like I expected them, only Tlthe elastic shoelaces are a bit too long, so I have to shorten them. Though, I can only give 4 stars, because i havn't got tue chance to go sailing with them and see how they perform under stress.

Context: I've recently moved to Vietnam. During the rainy season, most of Saigon's streets are flooded and you have to make a choice between flip-flops you can easily loose in the muddy water, or water resistant shoes that will stay on you feet.

I've waited few weeks before doing this review. I've worn these shoes for a month, and they've followed me during all my traveling experiences. I'd like to thank the Tropicfeel team for this innovative product I've been following on KickStarter before purchasing them!

As it's not the rainy season -yet- here, I didn't have the opportunity to try them in these conditions. However, I did small walks, I used them during my gym sessions (mostly elliptical workout), during kayaking... I wore them with or without socks, which doesn't make any big difference except for the comfort. During these activities, they were really comfortable, very light (which is a really good point). After wearing them for a while with the elastic shoelaces, they can start being a little too tight when wearing them without socks, but nothing really annoying. The 43 EU size fits well for me used to something between 43 and 44 EU (wide feet).
I haven't tried them in every condition, but I guess if the sole is wet, the shoes can be a little slippy on smooth surfaces.

I've already washed them twice, 30°C with a short washing machine cycle and with the elastic laces. They can be easily washed that way, just taking out the inside soles. They indeed dry very fast, something comparable to synthetic sport clothes that would dry in 30 to 60 min.

So, this is indeed a really good, innovative and comfortable product. The only reason I don't rate it 5 stars is the fact the front part of the shoe tends to detach at some points between the fabric and the front plastic, even after 1 month. I suppose this is just a lack of glue on these spots, so nothing dramatic but I just don't know what glue I can use to fix it without damaging the shoe (I guess it is all plastic made materials). I actually intend buying an extra pair when the other one dries during a trip (and I lost the bag and the extra regular laces that came with the shoes).

As a little customer expectation, I would like to see something similar adapted to longer walks and treks with a bigger and non-slippy sole!
