Slightly smaller than I was expecting. What I would recommend for U.S. customers is to use your shoe size and go from there.

I do have wide feet, but usually, 8.5 USA size works well and that was exactly what I used ordering these shoes. I am hoping that the elastic portion of the shoe will give a bit way with more wear.

They are super light and so fun to wear it.

Overall I love them.

the flap behind will be prone to damage from the feet going in and out all the time and easily dirtied as well. So perhaps this will be able to be addressed in the next iteration of the shoe 2.0

My shoes look great, a little boxier than I expected and since they're half size too big they bother me in the ankle.

The shoes are really lightweight and easy to slip on and off! Pretty comfortable too. It doesn't dry as fast I would expect it to though. I've had to leave them out overnight to dry and they were still damp in the morning. Overall, a reasonable price for a chic and functional pair of sneakers!

I've tried these shoe in a number of situations on a number of terrains now and they hold up well, with super soft soles! The only thing I've found is that they are quite a wide/loose fit through the toes, which means the shoe feels less stable and supportive. I did also find that (potentially because of the loose fit), the shoes rub quite a bit on longer hikes or runs - so wouldn't replace a good running shoe, but great for everything else (shorter bush walks, city streets, beaches etc.).
Generally pretty happy with them, but would love to see the fit around the ball of the foot tightened up!

I followed your advise with the size and it did not turn out well. The shoe is to big.
When I joined as a backer I thought the shoes would be send from spain - because of the shipping from Singapore both VAT and a fee was added so the shoes turned out to be more expensive than I thought from the beginning.
Otherwise the feel of the shoes are very nice except for the size.

I just brought my shoes on a trip to Kenya. They were perfect for adventuring, very comfortable and light, and easy to clean and dry when they got dirty. I had no issues with them needing to be worn in.

Just back from 3 months in south east asia with these shoes and I’m pretty impressed. Found them a little uncomfortable at first as the back/heel area is quite solid, and the heel elastic rubbed so I ended up with blisters. But after a few wears they were fine. I’ve worn them everywhere from walking, hiking, climbing, canyoneering, scaling up and down waterfalls. The grip is great, quick drying, light weight- they’re a great travel shoe, and have survived all my adventures with not a mark on them

One size too small

They're nice! Comfy, breathable and lightweight.
It does however hurt after a while if I don't wear socks with them.
Other than that they're perfect.

First few times due to stiffness, the back was uncomfortable, got blisters and it wasn't comfortable to wear without socks as well. I live in Singapore, everywhere is humid here 365, without socks it will have too little friction and a little too moist to keep the shoes secure on my feet (I have skinny feet). Perfect for rain and outdoor, without wearing socks, I got to wash my shoes and freshen up right after instead of waiting till I get home. Problem is that if I have my socks on, it is not really that water resistant/ water proof anything more. I am quite a rough shoe wearer, mild damage is done to the base (tip of the base is slightly chipped off) even though I didn't do much (yet to run with it etc). I am quite a lazy person, love shoes that doesn't require my hands to wear (time saving and also I don't have like a stool or something to sit on to wear my shoe or something) but this definitely need my hands, if not the elastic part will be worn out faster than it should. Overall, it is super light, breathable and nice shoe! (Even though I kind of regret not getting the full black one...)
