The experience with Volunteer World was fine with just a couple of disappointing exceptions:
1) Whenever I had a question that could not be answered by the website, I tried to ask the question to the remote connection and I was under the impression that I was communicating with a live person when it was actually a bot that could not answer my questions.
2) I was given the option to communicate with a live person but there was never a live person available.
3) The instructions for using PayPal, bank transfers, etc. were not clear at all and there was no explanation as to why a volunteer could not directly send WHRC a personal check.
This was not exactly a smooth process because everything was handled via bot's and no live people. The hours for the availability of live representatives should be advertised somewhere and what country you would be contacting for the live representatives.

it was great, other than the temporary problem with the payment page, and they have a temporary alternate way of making the deposit and final payment, they also answered all my questions within 24 hrs...they also put me in contact with the person in charge of my chosen project right away...nothing to complain about, and they were all very nice people !!!

The lay out to this website is very simple to use the problem is it takes about 5 minutes for each page to load. I tried this on both my phone and laptop using trying Firefox, chrome and ecosia.
