I am extremely versed in travel but this was completely new for me. It is my first time volunteering abroad and i believe it will not be my last. I found Volunteer World very easy to work with and their rates are well within budgets and desires. Being able to communicate with the local representatives is ideal as i have a few (ok a ton of questions) and they are all being answered. I definitely see myself (and friends) doing this type of travel again and again and again..

You can find so much on this site! I like that every project has its own page to tell more about what you will do when volunteering and there is also a lot of other information, for example what you get to eat or what other activities you can do in the neighbourhood. I also like the function of the website where you can chat with the coördinator of a specific project.
