This was my first half marathon and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I really enjoyed the route, and this was despite the fact that I usually prefer multi-terrain running rather than purely on road. Very well organised, and drinks/energy gel stops very well placed. Loved the medal and t shirt too. Atmosphere between runners was great and very encouraging, and found the timing runners to be very useful. All the support crew were really positive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Amazing course! Even the hills were enjoyable, the marshals were brilliant really encouraging during the whole race. I especially loved the town centre finished that was quite fun.. I will definetly be back next year.

A tough course but I knew that it would be so no complaints there. I thought that it was very well organised and everyone was friendly and helpful. My only negative comment is that I could not see the point of the thick post grad study booklet in the goody bag. Surely just a leaflet would have been better?

The event was fantastic. Beautiful course; the marshalls were fantastic and the pacers were brilliant. Only one tiny critique would be that a running mag instead of the university prospectus in the goody bag may have been more relevant (but that's really nit picky)See you next year

The beginning, warm up and speech was a bit hectic. People further away could not understand anything from what was said.
Although it's not your responsibility it would have been nice to notify new runners, to run on the left told they are slow or wanted to walk. This would make it easier for faster runners to pass by.

I thought target timers were not going to run at even pace but they did! Only one critism the warm up space was no where near big enough...

Excellent day and route. A bit chaotic at the start and needed additional toilet facilities. Cars parked in start area that reduced access for runners and traffic was a bit dangerous on some parts of the route especially buses in the Broadway. Still didn't spoil the day but a potential accident waiting to happen.

A well organised race. Great venue for registration and smooth process for getting shirts beforehand. Stunning course which was extra nice as roads were all shut off so felt very safe. All in all one of the best half marathons I've done. Will definitely be back. How about a marathon ?

Fantastic event throughout! communication prior to the day was great, nice lead up with videoclip of the local area and running route info. On the day, a great location for event village, marshalls and volunteers were spot on the whole way through. The actual route was challenging at times but made it all the more special. Thoroughly enjoyed Winchester Half, would highly recommend and shall return next year.
