Generally very good and enjoyed the day if not the hills. I think some directions from the Park and Ride would have been useful. I found my way eventually but if you encourage people to use it then some signs to the start would be good for those who do not know the town

It was a very well run event. Very surprised of how smooth it all went considering it's the first one for so long in that city. Great route, very challenging and plenty of water stops. I have no complaints what so ever. Please try and keep it on a Sunday as parking is free. Please keep baggage hold system and the quality of the medals was so much better than I was expecting. I'll sign up for next year!

If the course was as user hostile as this app it would be no stars and 0. It was great but spoilt slightly by drivers ignoring the road closers.

An excellent run with great organisation.
My only complaint would be the appalling racket over the PA system at the start. The music was way too loud, to the point of distortion, and the unnecessary "group warm up" was equally loud and annoying. I find that at the beginning of a race most people just want a quiet few minutes to compose themselves or possibly chat with friends or team mates without having to shout over the top of what is noise just for the sake of noise.

The good: great atmosphere, plenty of water stations, good number of target timers, loved the medal, return into the city was awesome with the way it wound back through a crowd to the high street
The bad: no pace flags at the start so people were all over the place, roads need to be closed in Olivers Battery, mile flags seemed to be in the wrong places for the first 6 or so miles, start was far too narrow
The rest: goody bag was ok but weird with the prospectus, try to get a band or something in for the course, would have liked to have run through more of the city centre for sightseeing

THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER FIRST HALF MARATHON. I THOUGHT IT WAS ORGANISED BRILLIANTLY , PEOPLE WERE IN GOOD SPIRITS AND THE PEOPLE ALONG THE ROUTE WERE VERY ENCOURAGING OFFERING WATER AND SWEETS BY THE CHILDREN., WHICH I THOUGHT WAS LOVELY.
