I have the Droidbox T8 PLUS and also a Droidbox T8 as well, firstly though cannot recommend Droidbox as a retailer highly enough, great customer service and always kept informed what's happening through their communication e-mails "very happy". Onto the two machines, both are reliable and stable and good quality build. I am still in what I would call the educational stage with what you can do with them but some great Youtube links as well as the forums on the Droidbox website which I admit I am guilty of not using but will be shortly. These machines really are good quality and for those who are thinking of buying a android box " this is the place to get one and not a cheap build box on **ay.

I was hoping to get rid of my SKY box hence my reason of purchasing Droidbox. I feel disappointed that I can not do this. I must confess that Droidbox holds a lot of channels even those you cannot get on SKY, but there's still a lot on SKY that cannot be viewed on Droidbox. And some of the channels on Droidbox freezes. Therefore, I thought I should have spent less than I have spent by purchasing other boxes in the same category. Moreover, it's been advertised as HD, I don't think so.

First of all I am a complete novice. I am aware that there are links to online and telephone help but I would have liked to open the packaging and been able to read what I needed to understand it and set it up. In this aspect it is poor. That said the friend that recommended it set it up for me and I have no complaints about its function or quality to date and it has not yet let me down so A+ there. Neither of us however know or understand what OpenELEC is but I haven't needed yet for any of the films so no problem there either

Very happy with my DroidBox at home has I have a very good internet connection with plenty of mb. I have brought it to Spain this week and I only have 2-3 mb so during the day it works well but later the service gets busy and I end up with a lot of buffering (must learn how to download a movie in the afternoon. Had as much fun watching films as I have searching around Kodi, happy with my box.

Never had one of these things before so, although I am technically competent, I was a bit concerned about setting it up. I used an Ethernet connection and when I switched it on everything worked without any intervention at all. The GUI is easy to understand and navigate and reacts very quickly. The pre installed apps provide most of what you need to get going and explore the potential of streaming. I have just ordered the game pad to allow my grandkids to do some serious gaming! When you factor in the encyclopaedic support forum and blogs this is one of the best examples of customer awareness I have experienced in 40 years of gadget buying. Well done all.
