First class box and works well. However, Kodi takes a while to understand with a multitude of streams to get what you want. No more casting to Chromecast.

Never had one of these things before so, although I am technically competent, I was a bit concerned about setting it up. I used an Ethernet connection and when I switched it on everything worked without any intervention at all. The GUI is easy to understand and navigate and reacts very quickly. The pre installed apps provide most of what you need to get going and explore the potential of streaming. I have just ordered the game pad to allow my grandkids to do some serious gaming! When you factor in the encyclopaedic support forum and blogs this is one of the best examples of customer awareness I have experienced in 40 years of gadget buying. Well done all.

Bought this as a present for my husband who wanted to be able to watch more football, but as a secondary benefit, it has opened up a whole new world of viewing choices including all the episodes of Columbo, and Game Of Thrones, which my son loves, not to mention all the films. I could go on and on but it seems every day we find something new and exciting via this wonderful little box. My Best Buy of 2016 without a doubt

DroiX iMXQpro (MXQ PRO)
Bought as a gift for dad as he had a fire stick with kodi on but the picture was crap due to no processor to help the images.
Initially installed wookie but loads of dead links so reset 4 times as part of initial set up. Found some help with channels on u tube and sent up about 10 channels for simplicity for Dad.
He loves it. HD quality and not having to rummage around all the dead links. Really worth the money abiet you do need a bit of trial and error. I will be buying another :)

So once you've set up (easy if you have any computer, tv, Internet, DVD, experience.... Then it's just a case of visiting the Droidbox forums for Internet searches for the best app's to use..
48 years on and it's simples.!.!

I am a complete novice to the tech world and I'm struggling with setting my box up. There seems to be a complete lack of guidance for people in my position. I have followed the few instructions there were but without success. Do I have to load everything up myself and if so how to I go about it. Your sales description made it all sound so easy and I thought that I might be able to do without my sky package, please help!!

Arrived very promptly following order. Initial installation extremely easy BUT an issue whereby 'box' could not 'see' my wifi, support said speak with ISP about upgrading the wifi router. Not the best of answers since the router has 'shown' to many different devices and OS so still to be resolved - went for the ethernet connection instead.

DroiX VIP Plus Mini Keyboard with air mouse for Android, Raspbery Pi, Playstation, XBOX, Fire TV
I purchased this remote simply because its a complete pain when using the standard ir remote to type anything in,i.e repo addresses and such like and let me tell you ,it's well worth it.
The air mouse takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it you discover things that the standard remote just can't do and best of all,I got it for 99p when I purchased a t8s with the £15 off remote offer.
