After owning an MX2 box for about one year I find my new T8S Plus a great improvement, although I am no expert I am slowly finding my way around it, I must add that the help & support from the Droidbox team has been excellent all round, I would recommend this box to anyone, but if you are a novice to streaming (this goes for any type of box)& have not got much patience it will be a little daunting because if you need help you have to ask Droidbox questions, check out forums, youtube videos & help blogs to optimise your box, the set up instructions are great but anything you want to know after that has to be asked for or resarched via the web & there are lots of great sites out there with all the information you need.

I'm very happy with my t8-s plus

I'm a noob to the streaming TV world and after Googling a lot of reviews on KODI & TV boxes decided to go for a UK firm with top rated products and what a good decision I made.
I was after 2 main things:
A Quality product which will not be outdated anytime soon.
Very good customer service to help me on the learning curve.

Droidbox has delivered and exceeded all my expectations.
The comm's and Support I have received are probably the best I have had from an online supplier and I buy a lot online.

The Droidbox comes nicely packaged with all the hardware required although the Instruction manual is basic and very limited. This is compensated for by the online help & info from the droidbox website.
The Droidbox itself is metal, very well constructed and looks the part, its not a cheep & nasty bit of plastic.
Using it was & is a very steep learning curve for me and I really need support, which I got from Droidbox, responding to my help requests the same day.
My first box had a problem that it would not connect to the Ethernet but worked fine on WiFi, Droidbox had it back (freepost) and exchanged within a couple of days without fuss. The replacement is great.
I have recommended one to my daughters family and will buy another myself for a 2nd TV in my man cave.
If I could give it more than 5 stars overall I would.

Kept loosing connection. After a min up was down or left or right. Swapped for keypad.

Purchased two of these now and both work well as a remote But the Mouse side of it is impossible to control with i had bought the vipremotes instead

Couldn't do without this bit of kit! Makes everything you do on these boxes 100 times easier. A must have!!!

Great looking, easy to use and excellent speeds in openelec. Very happy with this box.

The droidbox is a brilliant compact piece of kit.but when I ordered the product said it was in stock but it took 2 days to notify me that this was not the case as there had been an error online. I could have preordered this before Christmas when it would have been 10 pounds cheaper but I thought I would wait until they actually had them in stock which I did only to be put in the same situation as before Christmas but without the discount. I sent an email informing them of this but wasn't offered any discount for their mistake in stocking levels or any apology. I am very happy with this product though and have recommended it to friends.

Best Android TV Box out there. A few niggles but then so do all the other boxes out there. Excellent build quality. Files can be transfered to the internal hard drive (if fitted) using ES file explorer from a USB stick, though haven't yet worked out to transfer files over LAN. Well pleased.

Works like a dream, previously had an M8 off eBay and it doesn't come close. Well made, looks great and brilliant performance. It did freeze when I first turned it on and had to do a factory re-set which was a bit disappointing but read the forum and problem sorted.

A very good bit of kit, it does what it says on the tin. I am useless at tech stuff but got the idea,so anyone with half a clue will love it.

I had X7 Ultimate before and I can tell that both devices have pros and cons. 1. On my old device I was able to use Flash Player with Dolphin browser, but on the new one Flash player crashes because there is no navigation bar coming from the bottom.
2. My TV shows more accurate colours with T8-S Plus (that's the reason why I bought the new one)
3. New one is much more rapid including app loading and watching films.
4. On my X7 Ultimate i was able to load movie files from my PC via WiFi, but on the T8-S Plus these films are running slow and sound is delayed probably because of Lollipop video player differences from KitKat's and no other video player can keep up with films buffered via Wifi connection.
There are some other bits and bobs but they are not so important, it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Was hard for me to set up but once working the box is fantastic

This Droidbox model is really well made, very high specifications for everyone's needs and I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS T8-S Plus model to everybody. But there are couple things that you might miss if you are using more Android OS then OpenELEC or KODI, so I just wanted to share my negative experience of using this device:
1. First of all, I don't know if this is Android's Lollipop 5.1.1 or Droidbox pre-installed launcher's problem, but that default android notification bar at the top is missing (where you can see running apps in top left corner and clock, internet connection etc. in top right corner). It is very handy and a lot people are used to it.
2. I couldn't find the way how to open active apps window, the one that appears when you normally press "double-window" key on Samsung phone. That button is also on B52 remote control but it does nothing at all when you press it so I am assuming this android feature is disabled.
3. This disadvantage is bothering me the most because I can't watch my IPTV television using Flash Player via Dolphin Browser. I understand that Flash player is discontinued to Android OS and I can't expect full support, but on my old X7 Ultimate device (was KitKat version of Android) I had Flash player installed and run on Dolphin Browser and it worked fine. On T8-S Plus device Flash player crashes when you start video. This is related to that navigation bar at the bottom of the screen which is also missing on T8-S Plus if to compare with my old one. If that bar would be still here, I could watch my television using Flash player. Luckily, I can watch my IPTV through HTML5 player which is android's alternative to Flash player.

So that's what I found so far. Other than that it's all fine with it. I know all these small things doesn't bother most of you so I can say that you will definitely enjoy this device just like me.

A great little product but the instructions for both the DroidBox T8-S Plus and the B52 remote are lacking. Managed to get both set up with additional help from the Forum. Many others using the Forum had asked similar questions so I would recommend the set-up instructions are updated to include these regularly asked questions. That said, the Forum is extremely helpful, probably more so than the technical staff who gave me conflicting information when I telephoned for assistance.
