i am not a tecky person but i took the chance and bought the T8-s openelec plus and when it arrived i took it out off the box read the instructions followed what it said went to you tube got instructions how to load wookie did that and away i went it all worked fine i am still finding my way round the different apps but enjoying it one thing it froze on me a couple times but i think that was my fault being to inpatient and not waiting for it load and pressing the enter button again but so far very pleased J THOMPSON

Disappointed ordered 2 weeks before christmas t8-s plus told me they came in stock few days before christmas sent me one got it 23nd december, DID NOT WORK would not switch on, Rang them cost me money still not working sent back same day with prepaid label told me when they recieve it the will send another out bang goes a chrismas present VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Received the box just before Christmas and so far i can't find any negatives.
This is my first android box so i'm still finding my way around it and i'm amazed the the amount of stuff that's available, live sport, music, just about any TV programme or film that's ever been made including latest releases and access to the internet so i can surf the net and check my emails with no need to boot up my PC and all the channels that my satellite provider gives me.
These are just a few of the things iv'e discovered so far but so much more to find.
I'll be cancelling my subscription with my satellite provider and purchasing 2 more similar boxes for my two daughters to use in their rooms and will be around a grand a year better off in my bank account.

Great box and very happy with service from initial purchase to delivery to using the box. As other people have said, you need to spend time with the box and learn from it as I had to unless you are already a gadget expert. I am still learning what I can do with the box and the team at Droidbox are great when you need help as I have several times. Have just purchased the new Droidbox TS-8 Plus and looking forward to using that box as well when it arrives. Great box, Great Support Team when needed what more can I say.

We have now had our box for about 8 months, & I have to admit we never use normal TV anymore . The box is our saviour as we can watch anything we can think of and it saves us hundreds of pounds as we don't have to 0ay for sky channels anymore ! We would be lost without it & about 10 of our friends/ family have already bought one as we have told them about how great it is .

I was invited to write this review by DoidBox. Funnily enough I had been thinking of writing anyway as I am really happy with the box. I had had another Android box for a bit over and year. It was of inferior spec but I could see the potential so I upgraded my internet and bought this box and now it really works well, very well. With the other box although I could watch movies and most TV I couldn't get watchable reliable live sport, but now I can.
I particularly like the OpenElec boot option, I find it much faster and simpler. The box itself is very well put together.
My only slight complaint is that the remote also controls my TV so sometimes I want to change something on the box and the TV changes. However, I have only had the box a week and haven't really bothered to try and address this, it may well prove easy to sort.
Overall I am very satisfied with the box.

The only reason I have given DroidBOX four stars is that I haven't, actually, opened it yet, having purchased it as a Christmas present. However, I found the customer service/technical support team to be so helpful and, despite living abroad, I received my order within a few days and in excellent condition. So, this review is for super service alone. If the product is as good as the service, I am sure that recipient of my DroidBOX will add the 5th star and write his own review after Santa has been.

I have only had the DroidBox T8-S for a few weeks but its totally brilliant. Apart from the endless sports, movies and TV shows available my wife is from Indonesia and she is able to what Indonesian TV. The only issue is that we may need to purchase another box!!

I bought the box believing it would include droid box wizard,and it didn't!! There was no mention of this in the sales pitch otherwise I wouldn't have bothered! The lack of the wizard made it easier to get a good picture on a cornflakes box!! Waited more than two weeks for a refund and £5 was deducted for no apparent reason!! UTTER GARBAGE!!
