From ordering to receiving the box I had no problems. Very prompt delivery and I was kept updated by Royal Mail on the delivery progress. A pity you are no longer allowed to put the install wizard on but the hint about wookie was very useful. Still have the usual problems with certain add ins and streams but overall I like the feel of the droid box compared to a standard xbmc box. So far so good!

Terrible experience, told it was dispatched then told it wasn't, told they would ring back several occasions never rang back once, so it was never next day delivery. Box was fine but no different to other that sell way cheaper

The t8s box has been spot on for movies & live sports. On start up the box automatically loads openelec. Don't know how to get back to android, but this isn't too bad. Have factory reset twice in the first week once because the hard drive was completely full and box stopped working after pausing a film (As told by our kids). The second reset was an attempt to get the android screen back after wifi stopped working. The power button will not always switch off the box. We bought the unit with a keyboard which we couldn't recommend more. If I'd had to repeat the first week without keyboard then then the box would have been sent back. Could no way rely on the t8s unit replacing our cable or even free view but as an extra it's going to pay for itself before the end of the year and has pimped up our entertainment!

Excellent box for the price. The (now defunct) wizard was very helpful, but installing the equivalent (Wookie) wizard is very easy to do. Also has a very helpful forum for advice.

Older films and or series download well and fast. New or fairly new is not so good. Also live sport is hard to get (football). The search is also a bit of an enigma. Can't get that to do anything. I was under the impression the 7 series was a simple piece of tech....I was wrong.

This may be the greatest piece of technology I've ever owned.
I cannot believe the capabilities of the T8S and the help and support from the droidbox team whenever I've had a question.
I'll seriously be thinking about another droidbox for another room of the house with a TV, aswell as telling everyone I know about them

I really like the T8s droidbox. Being in my late seventies this box has opened up a new interest for me. I am still finding my way around it and get quite confused about all the technical terms used to describe the various programmes etc such as confluence and modded but I am getting there. However the lack of a good instruction book is a handicap. The information is out there due to the excellent work of the moderators but it is all over the place and for a newbie it can be quite daunting to follow the various threads. However, after having a problem with Kodi freezing,I was able to re-instate it, successfully, to the original state thanks to the posts from 'Silent Screaming' and others. Well done guys!
